This tour really added to my recent trip to South Beach. I really love the architecture in South Beach, so the Art Deco tour was a great fit; I really felt more connected to the city after the tour. Christine did a great job of balancing historical information with other fun little facts. She had an amazing energy that had... More

We took the tour in Mid-May and it was a very informative two hours. Marty was our guide, and he was so knowledgeable, friendly and personable. He even went the extra step to e-mail us his restaurant favorites since we asked him for guides to the best places to eat on the island. Thanks to Christine and Marty for making... More

We had a wonderful time on our walking tour on May 11 with John as our guide. He was very knowledgeable, good sense of humor, very hip, easy to talk to and helpful with tips/hints for other things to do in South Beach. I learned so much on the tour that my kids started to tell me " not now... More

Hi Claudia! Thank you so much for your review and the high praise for both John and me. Indeed John is a superb guide and you said it best-- he's "very hip". Actually John used to be a radio personality and music composer with XM radio but his first love was always architecture. So now he's realizing that dream. I'm... More

This is a great way to start your time at South Beach. You will always be looking at the buildings a lot closer afterwards to see what Christine was talking about ... the tour was relaxed and friendly and Christine was very knowledgable about the area .. You can see the passion come out in her talks. Not just running... More

Hi Adam! Thank you kindly for the review. So glad you enjoyed the tour. You know running a business is hard work but I'm fortunate to say I love my job as Art Deco is one of my passions. Sometimes I wonder who has more fun--me or the client. I hope you get to visit Melbourne soon as I understand... More

Friend and I had a great time walking Art Deco disctrict with our guide - John Stevens and learning interesting facts. John was knowledgable and articulate. His sense of humor and personality made the tour a lot of fun. From history of Art Deco architectural style to pop culture trivia an even advise on local restaurants- our experience was enjoyable.... Hello Libby! Well thank you for the review. You covered everything so succinctly. I should hire you as my copywriter. John is my newest "celebrity tour guide" and former XM radio personality. He also has a genuine passion for architecture and Art Deco (his first love) which is a must for me in hiring the very best. My guides never... More

The Art Deco tour by Christine and her guides is a great experience and is absolutely worth taking part in to say the least! It is definitely an absolute must-do(-and-see) in Miami Beach. We have been preparing a large corporate event in Miami Beach in April 2012 and decided to book a private group tour for the accompanying persons of... More

Our goal is to ensure a seamless experience for both small and corporate groups from the beginning of the reservation process to the very end of the tour. Absolutely loved our Art Deco Walking Tour. With Christine as our enthusiastic and very knowledgable guide, we left feeling informed and extremely pleased with the tour. Christine appeared to have a great relationship with the right people in some of the best hotels on South Beach, allowing her to give access to places you would not normally get to see.... More

I only had one evening and a morning in Miami but so wanted to do an Art Deco walking tour. Christine kindly arranged one for me that started at 6pm. Hi Sarah! Oh wow! To be compared to famed Miami historian Dr. Paul George is certainly the best praise for my tour guide John Stevens. All of my tour guides must have a genuine passion for the architecture and telling the stories of influences that shaped Miami Beach. We all love what we do. I'm so glad you loved the... More

I had been on the preservation tour in February with friends. It was good for the price but there were too many to go inside the buildings. John took us in and out and on top of the buildings and had facts that were not conveyed on the prior tour. I loved that there were only 4 of us on... More

Hello! Thank you for pointing out the benefit of Art Deco Tours. The Preservation League offers large group toursonce a day that last 90 minutes for $20 a person, a fair value. So our goal was to meet the demand for those who wanted to see more and prefer no crowds while offering a great value. Instead of walking with... More

The tour was a real highlight for us when we were in Miami in April. We'd read good reviews on Trip Advisor and weren't disappointed. There was only three of us on the tour - so felt very personal. And we go great access to the best deco hotels in South Beach - and even a very nice roof terrace.... More
