Owner description: People watching is a great pastime in Miami's South Beach, which draws celebrities and beautiful people in skimpy swim attire to see and be seen. The wide and fine, white sand-covered beaches are popular spots for fashion photo shoots, so you're sure to see models. The area is known for its hip clubs and wild nightlife as well as numerous excellent restaurants.

I think it doesn't matter whether it's the winter season, because the South Beach is still teeming with life! The outdoor ambient temperature is good, with plenty of sunshine, sunbathing, people watching! You just need some food, drinks, a book and a holiday mood to enjoy the vast white sandy beaches! Swimming might be difficult as the water is still... More

New York, Paris and then there is South Beach. When it comes to art, architecture and nightlife South Beach is a the "it" place. This is where the world meets to party and play. Beautiful beaches, beautiful people, beautiful place. Looking for interesting people? Look no further. South Beach's new phrase: "We are the World"!

The beach is pristine and quality of sand is fine and easy to walk and lie on. Beach umbrellas are $15 and deck beds $20. Only problem is Ocean is full of jelly fish so virtually unswimmable. Great work out area to exercise and fantastic for a run.

Our family visited via the free public access. We stayed in Downtown Miami and utilized the bus for transportation. The fees for chairs and umbrellas were more than other beaches with more amenities we have visited. Very clean and nice people - highly advised if you're in the area.

Completely overrated, as a beach. Really, can't find myself in this hype. I suppose Ocean drive is ok, but there is so many other places to visit before you waste your time on this.

Most clean and clear beach. There is no way one should miss out on the south beach. Parking is a huge pain in the butt. Reaching early in the day should find you a spot if not park in a garage. If you are planning on going during evening, you should go to ocean drive for the colorful restaurants and... More

Beautiful. Clean ocean area. More like Hawaii than other Florida beaches. After reading all the other reviews I am surprise that no one mentioned all the homeless. It is hard being in vacation spending $20 on a drink and seeing people in such bad shape. As a mother of a 4 and 5 year old, you are not worried about... More

When you are on south beach, it becomes a very precious moment of your life. Ocean waves touching your feet and body energize your feelings and every molecule and atom of your body fills up with joy.
