I went to the beach on a holiday so it was really crowded. Lot's of people, but to my surprise it was not a lot of noise. My friend had her Ipod, so we found some lounge chairs and umbrella and chilled out. Went in the water for a while and came back and chilled some more. The sand was... More

We were so excited about going to south beach but were a little underwhelmed within five minutes! The beach was quite dirty with cigarette ends and bottle tops and was VERY overcrowded! Due to temps of 98f we had little choice but to hire a brolly, which all appear to be guarded by a grumpy sweaty man who yells at... More

Always love coming here! It can get pretty crowded especially on the holidays. Clear waves, strong breezes and an eclectic amount of people. Must have!!

I loved South Beach, everything is so easy to find. You can relax and people leave you alone. I enjoyed my swims and the sunbathing.

We went to south beach for the day. Very crowded but fun. Had happy hour and dinner at The Clevelander and that was great. Party atmosphere with eccentric people all around. We loved it but thought we were glad to have been there during the day. Nighttime would be a bit intimidating with kids in tow! Lincoln rd shopping was... More

South Beach in Miami is the ultimate stop for anyone visiting South Florida. The beach is packed with beautiful people! The sand is white, the sea is hot (careful of the jellyfish!) and you are a stone-throw away from the front-line of bars and restaurants if you need to freshen up with a cool Margarita. The mix of Spanish and... More

Compared to beaches near FLL, South beach is less cleaner and also over crowded. Black grass/dust accumulated at the end of waves. Too many people especially on weekends. If you like busy beaches and lots of people this is the place to go. Amazing restaurants and shopping. You can spend hours just looking at people but I like to look... More
