The walk along Collins ave in south beach can be interesting. Lots of people watching. At night a little tricky with some very "suspect" characters saying a few too too many comments making us uncomfortable. The day time shopping is good, prices not special or sorse. Victoria secret had the same old stuff with the same price to match, not... More

We had a hotel at collins avenue. It was nice location for hotel. It was easy to drive to many places from here. But the hotel we stayed wasn´t too great and actually we had one not so great experience there.

We stayed on Collin's Avenue at the Eden Roc. It was a great location to other very nice hotels in the same area. Our hotel was right next to Fountain Bleu which was a very nice property. Pricey, but the restaurants in that hotel are very good. You could catch a city bus to take you anywhere from that location.... More

My trips to Miami wouldn't be complete without a day/night in South Beach. Take a tour through all the art deco hotels that will amaze you....I saw and stayed in several of them in the 60's and it's amazing how they have been revitalized. If you don't stay in one of them, at least have a drink at the bar.... More

First, this avenue is quite long with one part (before 5th ave) quite calm and peaceful and the rest up to 12-14th st a bit more vibrant to become quiet again upper all the way to North Miami Beach. Loved the stroll on saturdays/sundays when needing to be out. You can find great stores to shop in, great restaurants to... More

Extremely convenient, close to everything and if you are on a budget and do not have a rental or want to pay a cab well buses are very frequent and take you from the front of your hotel to almost every single street on south beach. You can also go up to other places within Collins Avenue. Really cool!
