This is a very long Ave, which is also called A1A in some sections. From South Point in South Beach it heads norths and has a lot of variation in terms of what you see along it. From Art Deco and Contemporary hotels in SoBe, to high end condos in Sunny Isles, to public Parks in Bal Harbor, or single... More

After taking the tour bus to see the Art Deco hotels along this avenue my wife and I had to check this place out closer since her aunt used to live on Collins Ave. After parking in the lot off of Washington Ave, we walked along Collins Ave to take in the sights. Collins Ave is not as hectic as... More

Also an interesting walk with more shopping than restaurants… Parallel and one back from the beach to ocean Drive...lot of well know brands and some unusual ones…but compared to most other parts of the world the clothes and shoes were cheap and a lot of specials and discounts… It was quite hot to walk and memorial day weekend with the... Great high end shopping. Crowded. You will see all kinds of people, some barely dressed. Great shops. Great people watching. Parking hard to find. Go to 16th Ave parking area and just walk.

Driving down Collins Avenue is definitely a must do whilst in Miami. My head was swinging from left to right as there was just so much to see and I didn't want to miss anything. From amazing super cars to Cuban classics and some of the best hotels in Miami all along the same street. All the buildings are amazing,... More

I am in love with Miami Beach! As a matter of fact, my husband and I are headed there in December, this will be our 2nd visit. Heading down Collins towards A1A and South Beach, you will see trendy shops and restaurants, and the art deco style bldgs that Miami is famous for, there are a number of great restaurants... More

south Beach and Collins Avenue keeps evolving and unfortunately traffic keeps building with no extra infrastructure to absorb it. Nonetheless, it is worth a stroll or a drive to see the Art Deco Hotels and if you can brave the summer temps stop in a Hotel for a cool (pricey) drink.

This is a very big av, where the trendy, fancy, fashion hotels and restaurants are, near the beach and worth a visit. With time!

Collins Avenue is bustling with visitors and tourist. Love the vibe. Its gets very crowded and sometimes rowdy but its a good time.
