If you like buildings of the art deco era you will not get better than this area, wonderful and of course plenty of places to eat and drink always make it an easier walk...

Collins Avenue, the longest street I have ever seen, which crosses the north miami beach south . To the south, the Art Deco District with many restaurants, bars , and store these small hotels still in the Art Deco style. Going up north, the most majestic hotels miami beach including the famous Fontainebleau.

A neat experience if you avoid spring break. It's so congested in this area all fun is lost. Long lines and terrible traffic jams.

Close to everything. Never a dull moment. Even on the off season, there are so many people that come visit and hang around Collins avenue.

It is well located and connected with other areas. Centraly located. Long street. Safe, clean and with plenty of taxis everywhere. It holds some of the best pubs and restaurants in the city.

Shopping and big hotels...a scene, especially at night. Interesting neighborhoods as you walk from Art Deco to the border of North Miami Beach.

Clean and felt safe in the area. It was really busy at night and some really cool nightclubs. It is really loud and crazy but it calms down when you get to the Ritz. Tried to walk on the beach but found lots of seaweed. I have been walking this area for years and that is new.

So many restaurants and hotels. it is the main artery of Miami Beach. I happened to have been the on site architect 20 years ago for the hotel shown above. at that time this area was blighted and now this portion of collins has some of the hottest restaurants. The lower portion of collins (5th to 12th) was recently upgraded... More
