Ballet was beautifull

Went to see Russian ballet performance from St-Pb, it was spectacular. The stage was decorated and the dandies were amazing. This theatre is classic .

Great venue to see all kinds of shows. The sound is usually really good and the venue is well kept and always a pleasure to visit.

The Jackie Gleason theatre is the original performing arts Center for over 50 years. Its the nostalga it brings ... knowing all the famous preformers who graced the stage. Every summer local camps have their end of summer performance

I guess it's ok for rock concerts, but going to any more sophisticated cultural event there is weird as people get up all the time and come and go get drinks and food, the view from the balcony is impeded by a bright, shiny chandelier that never turns off, and the acoustics are atrocious.

There really isn't a bad seat in the house at this venue. It is decently kept with adequate parking just across the street. The venue should be used more freqently as the acoustics are quite good. Give yourself plenty of time to get to the theater as the traffic in the area can be intense. Also, the food offerings, although... More

Our company hired the Beach Boys to perform a private concert at this venue. We were there for several hours. We used the lobby area for mingling and appetizers. Dinner inside the theater was very good including a sushi bar. The staff was very friendly. The Beach Boys played a great show. The sound and lighting was good. A DJ... More

Thanks to this theater Miamians can watch great Music from all over the world. Valet parking is very good. Something you want in South Beach. The shows, as I mentioned are fantastic. Acoustics are good, seats are generally good.

We went for the dirt time this weekend The theatre is nice, the acoustic great, the restroom no more than ok but The parking is a nightmare, hours of waiting, you better go 1 hour earlier and dont waste your money in valet parking Park 2 block away for $15

It took years to develop the right sound system and the shows are great. Take some time to enjoy their concerts and shows. I remember Gleason introducing Miami Beach to the United States from TV Land.

I am fortunate enough to be married to a wonderful French woman and she has taken me to this theater on two occasions and both have been great. Any visit to the Filmore should be a good one. Bruel was charming and the music (in French) was upbeat and fun. Check out their upcoming events, the theater is in the... More
