The hall is lovely and although large has excellent seating. Both lodge and second and third tiers excellent. The ballet espana was doing an integrative piece that was beautiful. Stage is large for major numbers. Nice set up for drinks and snacks. Good ventilation in hall. Location excellent and even walkable from city center hotels. Near arena for Heat and... More

This beatiful and traditional school seems not to care about visitors. Our previous emails were never responded and even after we were there, no visit was permitted. They had a few reasons, but not enough to dismiss a teenager who crossed the continent in order to have the experience.

This is the first time I buy season tickets with my daughter so we will see how it goes. Service when ordering the tickets was great as well as when we chose our seats. Very accommodating.

The ballet had developed an excellent reputation for quality and artistry. However, since the original director left the company, it has not been as great. Particularly affected have been the fun "barre" nights at the rehearsal space, which have now turned into lectures and not demonstrations, sadly.

My daugther dance for four consecutive years, participate in the Nutcracker and complete a summer camp in one occasion for different reasons she missed one year of ballet school. She wants to come back for fun and try the two weeks summer camp, and they suggest that she has to do the three weeks summer camp for BEGINNERS???? That's mean... More

I travel worldwide and ballet is my passion. Of the companies in the USA, there is none I enjoy more than Miami City Ballet. Their technique is at the highest level and their winning, appealing style is remarkable. If you are in the greater Miami area anytime between October and May, check to see if they are performing. You will... More

I would imagine that very few families that come to South Beach end up booking tickets to the Miami City Ballet. In fact, it was a perfect day at the beach when we went to see the Nutcracker on Christmas Eve. And we are happy that we did as it was a beautiful production by a very strong cast of... More

My friend and I had a horrific experience with this "company" called the Miami city ballet. However, they can hardly classify themselves as a company since they are a scam. We drove from Naples, Florida all the way to Miami to see the Nutcracker. Not only did we book a hotel and pay cab money, we arrived to the Miami... More

We were able to get tickets for the Open Barre event with Chita Rivera. The Open Barre events are always worth going to. The room is small, so it is more intimate and the seats are very close to the stage. Any time you can see the Miami City Ballet is a treat, but the Open Barre events are even... More
