An amazing place to hang out - you can grab a seat on the pier (currently under renovation) or just on the rocks on the riverbank and you'll have a fantastic view of the Fischer Island + all the boats passing by - especially impressive to see the massive cruise ships heading out! The park itself is quaint and it's... More

I was pleasently surprised when visiting South Pointe Park in Miami Beach and discovered the brand new Pier! 450 ft long, fishing is allowed. The views from the pier are awesome. The bike/walking path is wide and well paved with some sorth of bricks. Parking on the streets is free before 9.

it's is the southernmost part of Miami Beach and extends from the beach side, with a lovely walkway to a fun seafood restaurant on the bayside marina, Monty's. Dogs are allowed off leash at certain hours. There is a childrens playground, plenty of benches to just enjoy the gorgeous view and now a new fishing pier has finally reopened after... More

Located at the southern tip of Miami Beach, South Pointe Park is surprisingly secluded from the typical South Beach madness and frivolity. It offers locals and tourists alike a safe and relaxed place for families to come with children of all ages - complete with sandy beach area, playground for the small ones, grassy areas to spread picnic blankets under... When the traffic and beach crowds become too hectic, South Pointe Park offers a peaceful refuge, day or night. There is a grassy hill perfect for a moonlight picnic overlooking the beach, several paths for beach access and for strolling by the water. A large metered parking lot makes parking easy--but the lot costs $20 on weekends. Beach residents pay... More

Parking was a bit tricky and expensive. If you are not a Miami Beach resident be prepared to pay $20 which is outrageous since most public parking in Miami Beach is cheap. Besides that it's the perfect spot for a day at the beach. This is where Miami Beach begins, right next to the Port of Miami channel. They have... More

We visited this particular beach during our time in the states. The beach itself is very breathtaking and gives you some fantastic views along the coastline. The sand beneath your feet on this particular beach, was very soft and we just took our time walking and admiring the breathtaking views of everything nearby. There is also a boardwalk walk which allows you to... More
