They did a nice job redoing it, but... it's too modern, too SoCal, too much in the shadows of highrise (as in very HIGH) condo buildings. No character just nice sidewalks (okay the lights are cool). We rented the Dekobikes near our hotel in South Beach and headed straight down to the South end to start a big loop of Miami Beach. This park is very spacious, uncrowded and has great views. There's also an off-leash dog area. More

South Pointe Park is nice, but a little canned and homogenious. There is too much to see on South Beach to be stuck here. More
