I love Fisher Island but let's face it, for most people they are only going to see the outside of Fisher Island. In order to go on Fisher Island ( Billionaire's Row ) you better be Oprah, Beyonce, Madonna or part of their entourage. I have had the privilege of staying on Fisher Island and NOTHING on that ISLAND IS... More

A must see during a visit to Miami. Lifestyles of the rich and famous could have been conceived here.

Definitely the playground of the rich and famous. It's an invite only kind of place and I went to have lunch with a friend, Oprah's neighbor, no less. Once you're on the island everybody gets around in personalized golf carts. The restaurant is quite good, caters to their clientele, and the whole place is pristine but rather 80s.

You need to take the ferry to go there. There are a few buildings and houses. It is not really interesting, except if you want to see where a few personalities have lived.
