We went on a bus tour and were shown the fisher island. It can be reached only by boot or helicopter and only the rich and famous live there.

Lovely quiet lush island just off South Beach - access by ferry. Worth a visit if invited! Good beach bar, several private beaches, decent golf course, good 3 mile walk all around the island.

Spectacular little jewel in Miami. Only for selected travelers and home owners. You have to be invited by a resident to visit the Island or you can of course stay at their hotel. Fisher Island went thru major renovations and back new and perfect to please their guests and residents. As a realtor I would highly recommend to purchase a... More

It would take a week to describe the oasis that is Fisher Island. The Ferry, concierges, dining options, golf card transportation, private beach, pools, and multiple dining options that are all first class.

We were very upset when we wanted to visit Fisher Island and was not allowed on the ferry. So we had to make do to see it from the ocean when we rented a boat. REAL MEAN PEOPLE.

This place is very similar to the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo.Only super wealthy have access to the island. Definately not worth staying because prices are way too high.

This place is very reminiscent of the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo. Like that location, access is severely restricted to the wealthy. Unless you're a rich guest of the hotel, a resident, or a resident's guest, you can't even access the property. Like Ocean Reef, Fisher Island is self contained so rich reclusive residents never have to leave for... More

No more glasses, no more silverware, no more napkins explained the waiter "but it is not my fault . . . We just can't handle this many people." The Beach Club was a zoo where it literally took hours to get a table and get fed. When the food arrived haphazardly after several reminders, both the quality and presentation were... More
