On a recent trip to Miami we decided to take a drive close to the beach on Ocean drive to be exact. It was around 4pm in the afternoon which we thought would be a perfect time to take this drive. We barely got on the Ocean which was a two lane street and a a guy who was acting... More

Ocean drive us beach chic place but it can get very loud and crazy during peak hours. We enjoyed walking up and down the street looking at the hotels and cafes and palm trees as well as tourists and locals. We stayed at the beacon hotel so we were in the quieter part of ocean drive....would love to come again

We stayed on Collins Ave (Dream hotel) so we were right beside Ocean Drive. It is full of restaurants, hotels, people, fancy cars, and shops, as well as parallel to the beach. Lots to do here, but BEWARE OF GETTING SOLICITED BY EVERY SINGLE RESTAURANT ON THE STRIP!

We always try out a different Ocean drive restaurant / Bar all a much the same quality and price Saturday night or Sunday afternoon we find best for people and car watching. We found better cheaper food food away from the beach around Lincoln and Washington but not got the atmosphere of ocean dr.

I'm a big Al Pacino fan, so the highlight of my visit was the set of stairs that Tony Montana used in the chainsaw scene. Warning -- it looks nothing like the movie did. They're now hidden beside the Johnny Rocket's restaurant, which is the only place on SOBE you can get a Yuengling beer. There's also the Versace mansion,... More

even though we were unable to stop due to not being able to find a parking place, we still got to drive down Ocean Drive and witness those art deco beach front buildings and the beautiful people that go with it,

My wife and I spent an afternoon walking all around this area. When you think of Miami Beach or South Beach, Ocean Drive is what comes to most people's mind, which is because Ocean Drive is jammed packed with great food, ambiance, strolling and just people watching. Ocean drive is the place to be in South Beach, this is truly... More

Spent a couple of evenings on Ocean Drive. It's buzzing and busy and there are lots of places to eat and drink. We had dinner and it was a little over priced but worth it to sit out on the pavement and chat to all sorts of people. We saw one man walking around with a snake and another with... More

One of the most laid back places probably! Also, not to forget a very cuba like feel with everyone including the local radio in SPANISH! Hola is your word there. Its a downtown where people celebrate with the largest drink size available and definitely know how to have a good time. Its all about music dance drink and beach!

Perfectly located along Miami Beach this street is known for bars, movie filming, and to show off. If you like the fuzz and buzz then go there. When we went there part of the street was blocked of b/c of some movie filming was going on.
