The stunning Art Deco Hotels should be the major focus on Ocean Drive. They look upscale and hail from a time when the rich and famous flocked to Miami. The eateries along Ocean Drive are everything but upscale. Every menu looks the same and tacky girls try to lure passersby into the restaurants. If you're a food lover, don't eat... More

They should make this a one way street or buses and taxis only, there is too much traffic and very limited parking, people walk in front of you all the time. Then there is the sidewalk. Side by side resturants of overpriced food and drinks. As you try to walk down the crowded sidewalk there are people shoving menus in... More

This is not the Ocean Avenue of my parents in the mid-1950's. Elderly people in rocking chairs or lawn furniture awaiting their final years. This is now a vibrating action packed see and be seen venue. Plenty of tourist trap restaurants except for Lario's. Young men and women doing their thing, roller boards, fancy cars and plenty of people watching.

The iconic Miami beach image is actually only a tiny part of the city and during August has canopies over the pavement dining that spoil the view of the art deco buildings. By night you are harangued by staff trying to get you into their restaurants, once seated beggars and hawkers prey on you. Sophistication and glamour as portrayed in... More

Stying in MIami , South Beach is the place to be, beautifull beach and bring your parasol to create some shadow. But the place to be at night is on the Ocean Drive with all its restaurents, bars and shops. Night life at its best.

I had the best time on Ocean drive for my birthday. The beach, the ocean, the fish and great entertainment. Between the muscle cars, luxury cars, motorcycles, street performance...there was so much to do and look at every time.

Great for people watching. Vibrant but you do get a lot of poseurs blaring out loud music in their soft top convertibles. Food isn't the best in Miami Beach, but the whole package is a magnet to tourists
