Captain Wayne Gilbert gave us a fantastic two hours. His boat is fast and the ride was exciting and informative. Captain Wayne knows where to go and explain about the history and wildlife of the everglades. We had plenty of opportunities to take pictures of aligators and birds. I really enjoyed the speedy boat. We went Christmas eve and it was well worth the drive. It was both educational and fun. My boys were 16 and 18 and they had a great time. It would be a good trip for younger children also. The captain we were with was professional and entertaining. More

Private trip is the way to go. Captain Rob was very informative about the area flora, fauna, history, water and politics. We had the best 2.5 hours with Wayne. He was an excellent captain and gave us lots of Florida everglades information throughout the tour but without it sounding memorized or redundant.
