My husband and I are return customers to Bongos. This is one of the few places in Downtown Disney that we never have to wait on line for, and we always manage to get a table upstairs on the covered patio, away from the foot traffic. This is not a family "gimmicky" restaurant like Rainforest or T-Rex, so that's likely... More

When you order your food and you get it about the same time as your drink it makes you wonder when it was made and how whether it was just reheated. I am no expert on Cuban food but from my little experience the food has a little taste to it. To me this meal was just reheated. No other... More

I came to Bongo's with a friend on a Friday night before my cruise, looking to experience a little Miami nightlife and have some fun. My entry was $15, his was $20, and that included 1 drink. There was a live band and salsa dancing. The overall vibe and atmosphere the night I went was just ok. Maybe it was... More

Pretty place yeah Gloria Estefan owns it but I does not make it a Cuban Food Restaurant. Ceviche soggy, mojito's passable. It's more a nightclub areppa shredded Beef a traditional Cuban fair was ok the calamari fried where pre made frozen and if not they looked and tasted that way. Suggestion is to Pass on Bongo for food but go... More

We ate lunch on our last day in Miami looking for good Cuban food, we were not disappointed! The food was great I had lechon con arroz. But what stood out the most was the awesome service we had! An older gentleman I think his name is Hector was amazing very friendly and made us feel super comfortable, he gave... More

Went with some girls friends looking to dance a little bit. I had a lot of fun. I ordered the mojito and it was good- not great. The bartender was just OK- he just did his job but didn't go out of his way to be friendly. My friend ordered the Cuban pork appetizer and it was tasty and good... More

Over this Memorial Day weekend I attended an event that was hosted here at the Bongos Cuban Café. This place was awesome! They played great music and the drinks were just OK.. They definitely could have been a bit stronger but hey these are the expected challenges when you party at nightclubs right? Every bartender is going to make the... More

I enjoyed my meal, so did everyone at our table. Tostones are really good. Beef was delicious! The place is big and nice. Its entertaining. You can play and take pictures with the bongos. I didnt go to the club but as far as the restaurant experience, I thought it was quite good. And the prices are reasonable. A place... More

Look no further than Bongos, this place was a good escape from the Techno scene that was so prominent during the Ultra Music Festival. This place offers authentic cuban food and awesome dancing inside and on the outside floor. Those on the outside floor came to salsa dance, and if you're out there, so should you. Great music and dancers.... More
