ZWF Miami is the only zoo in South Florida with as many animal encounters. We carry more than 20 of exotic species at our facility with many available for interactive activities involving our guests. The five acre zoo houses everything from domestic animals and primates to large predatory birds and mammals. Some of our popular selection of exotic zoo animals are Gibbon Apes, Sloths, Lemurs, owls, snakes, Anteater, Lions, Snow Leopards, and mischievous Capuchin monkeys - like those used in many movies. The Zoological Wildlife Foundation offers intimate tours and private encounters by appointment. Contact us to schedule a special tour with our exotic animals! It's an experience you will never forget. Tours must be prepaid and booked in advance in order to guarantee your desired date and time. DIRECTIONS: Please use these directions. I had visited ZWF a few months ago, but ever since then I can't stop thinking about how great that day was! When I had first seen the prices I thought that it was a bit expensive, but then when I actually experienced the tour, it was all worth it. I am 16 years old, and I am a HUGE... More

My friend and I visited ZWF last week and I can't even express what a wonderful experience this was. This truly is a sanctuary for the animals and as an avid animal lover this place exceeded my expectations. We did the general wildlife encounter along with a ten minute tiger cub encounter session. We also interacted with several other beautiful... More

My 16yo daughter is an animal lover and asked to go to the Zoological Wildlife Foundation while we were on a stopover in Miami. A downside is that it's pretty far away from the city. But it's well worth it. The habitat is very much like a jungle with enclosures. But the girls who led the tour were knowledgable about... More

Lots of variety of animals with general tour. It was very fun to be able to get up close with owls, monkeys and lots more. The price for close encounter is a bit high and we didn't do it. Unless u haven't done it, there are other places that offer similar encounters.

I came away concerned about the welfare of these animals. Endangered animals are being cared for by people with a high school diploma who feed them dog food. They do things like breed ligers and mix animals that are from different regions into the same cages. They would not answer my questions about the relationship they have with zoos; I... More

This place is fantastic. All the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. You get to interact hands on with a variety of animals, including a monkey, wolf, ant eater, snake, and owl. It is expensive but the interaction is well worth it.

I visited here with my children and had just the basic 1 hour tour. Got to feed a few monkeys, see some big cats, then got to handle a few less exotic animals like owls and turtles, and one baby monkey which was nice. Overall, it was pleasant enough, but did not seem worth the money . Perhaps the extra... More

Hello. Thanks for visiting us. The money that is collected from tours, photos and encounters, helps us enhance the animal habitats; support the cost of food and veterinary care. If you'd like to get a more up close and personal experience with one of our animals, this requires a encounter or photo session which is at an additional cost. Thank... More

The park is quite cool but it doesn't cost 90 dollars for a ticket. You can interact with owl and small crocodile, all other animals for additional price.

Booked the Special (3 hour) tour for our family of 4, with Andrea hosting us for the visit. Having close contact with a range of unique and interesting animals was extraordinary in a number of ways, especially the animals that we see in images but have never had direct contact with. It was quite surreal, and words don't do the... More
