ZWF Miami is the only zoo in South Florida with as many animal encounters. We carry more than 20 of exotic species at our facility with many available for interactive activities involving our guests. Some of our popular selection of exotic zoo animals are Gibbon Apes, Sloths, Lemurs, owls, snakes, Anteater, Lions, Snow Leopards, and mischievous Capuchin monkeys - like those used in many movies. The Zoological Wildlife Foundation offers intimate tours and private encounters by appointment. Contact us to schedule a special tour with our exotic animals! As an animal lover, I HAD to ask my family to sign us up for this. We went with the private tour, as all proceeds are a donation to the foundation. Our guide, Ally, was so friendly and passionate about her job. Her personal views on the different animals and their quirks added a completely different layer to the experience.... More

It was a little expensive, but it was a great experience to be that close to some of my favorite animals was awesome. The monkeys are hilarious! It was by far the favorite part of my trip to Miami. The staff was very friendly.

We were there on July 13th. We got the package with the interactions with a tiger cub. Our guide, Julio, was fantastic. We got to see many exotic animals close up and got to interact with a wide variety. Watching our daughter interact with a tiger was priceless. Be aware that getting to this site required some dirt road driving.... More

The zoo keeps expanding, from a basic display of animals they have added so much more. There is a huge aviary, the Amazon, where you will see animals not shown in most zoos (harpy eagle, sloth, giant river otters etc.) And they are adding a new Everglades section. Be advised that the zoo is spread out and can be very... More
