As a prior resident of Miami, I was looking forward to visiting the new Parrot Jungle on a recent trip back to the city. I was cautious based on the other reviews here, but loved the original Parrot Jungle so much, I just had to see the new attraction. What a disappointment. The new Parrot Jungle is ok, but not... As a former Miami resident, I have been eager to see the new Parrot Jungle in its new location. It used to be a welcoming park that Miami families would frequent to see parrots in their beautiful glory and to revel in their many talents. We used to always take our out-of-town friends to see this unique attraction. The new... More

I was a little leery based on reviews here. Our entire trip was based on seeing Parrot Jungle, so we had very high expectations. We own 6 parrots. We opted for the summer season pass only 2 dollars more(about 38 each) and we'd be able to go back if we enjoyed our first day. July turned out to be a... More

First, if you plan to visit Parrot Jungle Island, be prepared for the cost- $25 per adult. They have three animal attraction shows. The Parrot/Bird show is pretty good. Not so sure the Cockatoo enjoys riding the bicycle, but he didn't seem miserable, so maybe that isn't so bad. The reptile show is a little short/lame, they bring out a... More

As an annual pass member I expect decent treatment from the oftentimes uncourteous staff at Parrot Jungle Island. The last experience today was the worst treatment I have ever had from a supposedly reputable establishment and will have to say that I recommend that you be prepared for bad treatment. It happened as follows: For the third time this year... More

Parrot Jungle Island has some definite high points. The chance to interact with so many parrots is something you won't find elsewhere, and the shows are very good. However, one of the major attractions was closed (judging by other reviews, this seems to be a recurring theme) and the environment was a bit sterile. It is definately overpriced. A must... More

We had no idea this was the follow up to the original Parrot Jungle until we were inside. Should’ve realized it at the similar set up Parrot photo shoot at the entrance. The place was clean and well set up. The only thing is to stay in groups otherwise you will get eaten up by mosquitoes. Safety in numbers. The... More

Pretty good. The shows are entertaining and exceeded my expectations, but not too much else there to see. Tickets are pricey, but it is worth because of the 3 shows. The shows, Winged Wonders, Reptile Giants, and Wildlife Encounters are totally different from shows at other parks. Tips to keep in mind. 1: Bring your own water, snacks, and lunch.... More

Parrot Jungle is much more than birds. In fact, the nicest attractions are the reptiles show and wild animals show. There is a nice and clean petting zoo and new playground equipment for children. Despite a previous post, there are numerous exhibits that are very educational and informative. There is a general feeling that the owners and staff do sincerely... More
