It was an excursion with our cruise...i love the ability to interact with the birds and many of the creatures..it is small..since it also included the ability for a ride to the airport..the price was fair for a cruise excursion..the bird show was amazing and worth seeing

I could not believe this place! I thought the entrance fee was a bit high but if the kids saw a lot of animals it would be worth it, but we did not get our money worth at all! It is a cheap irresponsible version of a zoo and I would not go back or recommend it anyone.

We only had few days, so we tried to chose, where to see the most for less... Big mistake. This park has an entrance fee of app. $40 per person, and is not worth it. This fee literally includes only the entrance, because everything else, you will have to pay for!!! They have a lot of parrots, which is the... More

Do not pay to visit this place. The animals are not taken care of properly and this "zoo" should be closed and fined for animal curelty. The staff is incompetent and insensitive to the needs of disabled visitors. The kangaroo exhibit which charges $5.00 to play with the young roos is unlike anything we've ever seen before. Parents and young... More

I live in downtown Miami and have been to Jungle Island four or five times in the last six years. I would always take my out of town tourist guests. I particularly liked the shows which had three themes, birds, animals, and reptiles. However, perhaps due to financial problems, Jungle Island has recently substantially reduced the content of these shows.... More

Went there with my very active 3 year old. Although the tickets were pricey in my humble opinion (Adults ages 11-64 are $29.95 plus tax; Children ages 3-10 are $23.95 plus tax; and $7.00 parking) we did get a promotion of a an annual pass for the price of regular admission. The annual pass gives additional discounts on parking -... More

At $33 per person and $7 for parking, this place is no bargain. I arrived later in the day and was worried I wouldn't get to see all the exhibits. I walked through the entire park twice in less than 2 hours. The park is neat if you want to get up close, and possibly bitten, by parrots and similar... More

My family and I were excited to try out Jungle Island since none of us have ever been. We chose Thanksgiving weekend to go there. From the moment we got to the door, already we were experiencing problems. I have a 15 month old daughter who is an extremely picky eater. She is extremely underweight and will not just eat... More

My wife & I were sailing on what they call a back-to back cruise (Same ship/same cabin - two 7 day cruises with different itineraries booked as one 14 day cruise) It departed from Miami, sailed the Southern Caribbean, returned to Miami, Sailed the Western Caribbean, and then returned again to Miami. We referenced tripadvisor.com (much like you're doing right... More

I'm surprised at the negative comments. I've been to Jungle Island twice in the past year and I had a great time on both visits. I was there over this past week-end and I found the staff to be very helpful. I was waiting for the bird show and put some money into a soda machine, but it turned out... More
