I love animals. And anyone who loves animals would love this place. Yes, it's small but you get a chance to have moments w/ these animals. There are a lot of friendly parrots all over this place. You can feed them after buying a bird food from a machine for a quarter. The parrots like to say "hello." For $5... More

Jungle Island was a great family place to go. My 2 kids loved it. You can get up close with the parrots and monkeys and even feed them. They also have a petting zoo and playground. I especially like the playground because you can let them run around and get some steam out. You can also enjoy some food while... More

I had seen alot of negitve reviews on this place, but my girl being such an animal lover had to check it out anyway... first of all if you have a AAA card, its worth 15% off the tickets... now the grounds were very well kept and there were alot of beautiful animals. The shows were pretty good too.

I was really excited about going to this park. The marketing material they put out is nice but its misleading. You have to pay $8 for parking then $30 plus taxes to enter the park. The things they advertise on their website or brochure for most part are extra fees. For example, if you want to go feed the young... More

Girl at the front window (cashier) was lacking from social refinement. No courtesy manners! Regret not reading other reviews before trip. Noticed that management only responded to reprimand reviewer who suggested the bringing in of food into the park. That's hilarious! Work on your customer service! My humble opinion!

We stayed in the miami area last week and dicided to visit Jungle island with our 3 kids. I thought the admission was too expensive. When we go in and we took a family picture with some of the parrots and we were not allowed to use our own camera to take even one picture. We were there for 2... More

We spent the last week of July 2010 in Miami with our 20 month old daughter. We went to Jungle Island expecting different kinds of animals. Actually, it is mostly birds - which our daughter is not super into. But they had quite a nice petting zoo area and if you paid extra ($5 per adult, little one was free)... More

My husband and I thouroughly enjoyed our visit. We did every animal encounter available. We also hired the park photographer and ended up with approx 250 pictures on a CD. I will admit we sank a lot of money on the animal interactions and the photos. It was expensive but worth every penny. I would recommend this park for anyone... More
