The white tigers and lion are amazing. It's a good place to spend the day with the kids. Lots of lovely birds and cute educational shows for the children. They are doing a good job. The original parrot Jungle was a fixture here for many years and this is a nice addition with the variety of good looking animals. They(... More

This is a fun place for all ages to enjoy. There are shows that include different types of birds and other animals. There are chances to hold a baby alligator, exotic birds, lama, and the chance to rise a camal; although, there is a cost for the pictures with the animals. The cafe is not the best place to eat... While the area of this attraction at first seemed small, the experience was amazing. One does get accosted as they walk in, with animals and photographers taking your pictures with the animals, but once you are past that, there is so much to see and do. We met Dr something or other - the curator of something - as we... More

Nice, jungle-like setting in the middle of a large, busy city. There are plenty of opportunities for close-up animal encounters even if you did not buy the VIP Safari tour. Examples of our animal encounters included feeding mccaws, kangaroos, goats, camel ride, and pictures holding Gibbon, pythons, tiger cub, mccaws, and cockatoos. They do not have a collection of animals... More

This place is now called "Jungle Island". It is definitely worth a visit. The entry fee is little on the higher side. I think it was about $34 for entry and $8 to park. It takes about 3-4 hours to cover and has some really exotic animals. We saw lions, tigers, white lions, liger to name a few. You can... More

I'm an animal lover, so Jungle Island was great for the opportunity to get close to macaws and various other types of animals. I was surprised that the parrots are out on perches for hand feeding, and there are other interaction opportunities like a petting zoo and kangaroos. Speaking of the kangaroos, the one downside that you can end up... More

Our daughter loved the petting zoo and the contact with the other animals. Dr. Wasabi show was great and tiger show was good. Only downer was how long it took to pay admission. Look for coupons from hotel concierge.

We went to Jungle Island today with two children and four adults. We knew it was expensive but we didn't realize that almost everything the children wanted to do cost extra, Pet the kangoroos - $5 Have a picture taken with an animal - who knows how much?? and they wouldn't let us take pictures on our own. We were... More
