At Tigertails we specialize in small guided airboat tours. We operate in the southern end of the Everglades on Tamiami trail in the Miccosukee reservation near Miami. You will experience the Everglades first hand as you handle young alligators and turtles while learning about the wildlife, the area and the proud people who live here from one of our experienced guides.

We got there late and the weather was looking bad, but even though they were getting ready to leave, Alex took us out and we had the greatest time! We were going to go another place, but they closed early. I am glad we found Tigertail right down the road. I would recommend them to everyone for a fun, informative... More

We did both this one and a bigger company and liked Tiger Tail much better.Smaller boats get you at a more "personal level" with the critters, with the Everglades and its history.Did the 45 minutes with brief stop at island, for $27 each, way worth it, the boat ride itself alone was worth it, the gators experince incredible. porta pattis... My family of five took a two hour tour with Tim as our guide. We had a wonderful time!! I think my kids may have preferred this to the Disney end of our trip. My daughter is quite a bird-watcher and Tim made sure she got to see a lot of cool birds. She was thrilled! IWe also loved getting... More

Arranged a private tour for my 3 teenage kids and me. Humberto was our guide. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Did a 2hr tour which was terrific. First stop out to an island where they have a few animals (small gators, turtles) they're tending to, where Bert gave us a nice overview / lesson on the gators and turtles and how... More

Our family of 4 took the 1 hour tour with Kenny as our guide (it was more like 1.5 hours in actuality). The airboat, which i think is a little smaller than many of the competitors, was very comfortable. We were gives very nice Headphone- type over- the- head ear protection to use - it looks like many competitors just... More

Not much to look at from the road, and a little further afield from some of the bigger, more touristy places, but a great hour trip with a Miccosukee Indian native. We had 5 of us on the boat and it's a great trip into the everglades where we visited a couple islands where we learned about the native animals... More

An amazing trip on the Everglades (just the three of us) with a great tour guide, Alex, who was able to tell us all about the wildlife, took us to his family's islands where we were able to hold alligators and made us feel very welcome. If you're looking for the personal touch, this is the place for you.

I went on an airboat tour spontaneously, and really enjoyed it. The guides were very knowledgeable, and it was actually quite interesting to learn about alligators.

We went to almost every airboat outfitter to get a feel of what they were like. Some were huge productions, some were a bit hokey. I love the everglades and I love alligators so I had really wanted to have the best experience and opted to just feel them out. I knew one was rated to my liking but totally... More
