At Tigertails we specialize in small guided airboat tours. We operate in the southern end of the Everglades on Tamiami trail in the Miccosukee reservation near Miami. You will experience the Everglades first hand as you handle young alligators and turtles while learning about the wildlife, the area and the proud people who live here from one of our experienced guides.

We had a great time. Worth the stop for sure. You'll be tempted to stop at other airboat tours as you approach this one as there are numerous to choose from, but this is the one you want! Our guide was John and he spent time explaining details about the Everglades and took us out to one of the islands... More

Tim was our guide, he was super friendly and taught us a lot. We had a party of 5 made reservations but came early, wasn't a problem at all. Took us on a 2 hour tour, we all had a great time. Saw gators, birds, turtles all sorts of wildlife.

I cannot recommend this tour enough. The guide was very passionate and highly knowledged about the Everglades and its inhabitants. You feel very safe while he navigates the water and the alligators. Will Definitely use their services again. Thank you guys

This is definitely good way to try airboats. We have passed about buffalo one and the one we found on the way from Miami, but this Tigertail was not crowded, we was six on boat. Trip takes about 40minutes, 30USD each including tax, we stopped on the little place where turtles and alligator found on communities are kept. You can... More

We took a short tour and it was really fun. The captain ( I forget his name) was knowledgable and answered all my children's 1000 questions!

I came here with family for the walk-in tour, and we got a great airboat tour of part of the Everglades! It is a nice and reasonable (about $30 per person) 45-minute ride through the waters to their island, where they take care of some animals entrusted to them by federal authorities (they have some alligators, turtles, and baby alligators).... Not crowded, reasonably priced. Fun stops on the way to look at alligators and baby turtlles, gators. However, the shop tours the north side of the road, not the national park, so you only get the river view with no option to go down to mangroves. Overall, il liked it, money will spent.

I was horrified by my experience with Tigertail. This is a business involved in animal cruelty. Our experience started out when our guide took us on a too-fast airboat ride during which our guide didn't stop once to point out any of the surroundings nor big birds that we zoomed past. We went to an island where animals they had... More

Went for a 1 hour private tour with Bert. Wow what a great experience. Their private island with rescue animals is fabulous. Berts interaction with the gators, turtles and razerback was great.

We had a great time on our two hour airboat tour with our guide Alec. He was very knowledgable about the Everglades and he took us to areas his family has been living for generations. We were introduced to injured animals they care for, and beautiful Everglades scenery.
