This place had a small splashpad, a small petting zoo with about 6 or 7 animals, and a typical playground you could find at any city park. The grounds and gardens were extensive and gorgeous. We didn't think it was worth $5 per person, though.

This is one of the most beautiful parks in Miami. A botanical garden full of different tree varieties, all labeled, little streams, bridges, benches.. Just a pleasure to walk around in shade. It's one of my favorites for kids as well - a splash zone, playground and even a petting zoo!

Ok, I totally was not expecting this place to be as awesome as it was! It is this kind of spooky but fantastic jungle like area that you can walk through, then it opens up into this beautiful lake area. Then on top of that it has this amazing little splash park for kids and a giant playground. What a... More

Quiet, beautiful, Nature, flowers, , very old trees. Art gallery in a cozy cabin. Very cheap paid admission (around 5 dollars per person). You can expend about one hour in the park. This park is the place where Parrot Jungle used to be before being moved to the current place. And it has charging "towers" for your electric car in... More

Beautiful, exotic and lush, this place is a hidden gem in the heart of South Miami. You can see fantastic and out of this world trees, they have an art gallery there that shows always amazing artists, and events, jazz festivals, splash play area for kids, amphitheater and they host several markets and art fairs throughout the year. This is... More

Affordable tropical visit. Great if you have kids, because there is a splash park. The price is right at $5.00 adult. There are turtles and fish in the water ways. You can even use your phone to get a narrative tour. If you go on a Sunday there is even a farmers market with all kinds of cool things, from veggies,... More

This tops Fairchild Tropical Gardens in our book. The walkways flowed beautifully. The mature trees were breathtaking. The water that followed the paths were a treat. The only negative was the petting zoo. Hate seeing animals in captivity, especially when a bunch of children are screaming around them.

Beautiful venue just to take a peaceful stroll among the tropical vegetation. Sometimes hosts events, such as Sunday morning Farmers Markets, and art shows, plus live entertainment in the former Parrot Bowl open air auditorium. A little hard to get to without a car. Free and plentiful parking. It is operated by the Village of Pinecrest Municipality and has a... More

The garden is very peaceful and very clean. In addition, you can bring your own food and eat it inside of the gardens. I love the fact that they have an audio tour that you can follow with your cell phone.

This used to be the old parrot jungle. The lake still has a couple animals. The place is nice to take pictures even in the summer there are so many trees that its not as hot. For the small kids they have a splash area which is fun they are always having great events and on sunday they have the... More
