This venue gets better and better with time. It used to be Parrot Jungle until the whole thing moved close to the Port of Miami to become Jungle Island. The old place became part of the city of Pinecrest and a garden of pure delight. The vegetation was kept intact and the activities make this place a magical one. Free... More

We visited just to see this art installation which was well worth the small price of $5 admission. Haas' Four Seasons features four, 15-foot busts made from fiberglass fruit, vegetables, and plants. Apparently they are inspired by a Renaissance paining. They are much larger than I envisaged them to be and quite extraordinary. The detail is amazing! We also took... More

If you can appreciate this natural jewel as a city park where toddlers can teeter with mild concern for jagged coral lining the paths, you are good for a satisfying visit. Expect anything more and you will be underwhelmed. Historic because of exotic birds who were housed here when Parrot Jungle operated its popular and classic Florida roadside attraction. Thankfully... If you haven't been to Pinecrest Gardens; you have to visit. Take advantage of the Phillip Haas installation in the gardens until April. The sculptures are really interesting each depicting the seasons in homage of the old master, Italian painter from I believe the 15th century. The gardens have so much to offer, concerts, plays, art exhibits. You can even... More

A beautiful place to spend an afternoon. Brings back memories of when it was the Parott Jungle. Every turn along the path brings delightful sites.

One of my favorite parks to stroll. I love the large banyan trees that canopy the park. They have a splash zone for kids. The paths are paved and there are park benches throughout the park so that you can relax after a stroll. There are picnic areas too. On Sunday's, there is a fresh market in front of the... More

Pinecrest gardens are very nice! We went around Christmas time and the decorations were very nice! The "Live like Bella" nights are especially nice with all the lights shows and the story telling for kids. There is quite a lot to do, compared with other parks, especially with young kids. Fish feeding, water games, playground, picnic areas, petting zoo. 3-4... More

Can´t think of anything to do with the Kids on a Saturday afternoon... go to the Gardens. Lot´s to see and touch in the gardens. Check the timetables and you might find a concert !!! The kids love it... parking might be hard to come by if busy..

Wonderful to see during the day and gorgeous at night for a concert. Wild, tropical paradise. Used to house Parrot Jungle so has that jungle feel. Any concert held there would be wonderful because of the magical beauty of the venue. Particualy good for a Marley concert . Saw Stephen Marley perform there and it was outrageous!
