This is a two hour walking tour through a humble but lively neighborhood, a kaleidoscope of culture, traditional customs, and vivid colors. Weave in and out of streets that mark the site of secret ritual offerings, the very location where the Bay of Pigs was planned, and the fountain of youth called Dominoe Park. Sample pure sugar cane juice from a local fruit market, the classic Cuban Sandwich at family restaurant, and watch cigar rollers follow a decades-old technique to create the finest cigars.

Our group of 4 had a fabulous time under the direction of Flavia. The Little Havana tour was fascinating with an excellent overview of the history. We loved seeing the locals play dominoes and visiting the cigar shop. The lunch we had was better than the dinner we had the night before at Versailles. Highly recommend. tina

This tour does not involve a lot of walking but is full of Cuban history and culture. Christine was a great and knowledgeable tour guide. We had a chance to try Cuban food which was great and enjoy some cane juice on the way. Worth the cost!

Fabulous walking tour with Flavia and another couple. We recommend it to anyone wanting to learn about the neighborhood and Cuban culture from 1950s to today. Excellent take in every way.

Had a good tour with the very freindly and knowledgeable Flavia. Perhaps spent too long with the introduction to Cuban/Miami history standing just at the Bay of Pigs Memorial but things got more interesting when we set off for the walk. Had a good visit to fruit and cigar shops and ended with a cuban lunch. My vegetarian preferences were... More

An enthusiastic tour guide, a good-enough lunch - just a few streets and sites; would be unpleasant if over 85 degrees!

Flavia offered a great tour of Little Havana, and even after living here 30 years we learned things we didn't know about the area. She provided a historical perspective that was thoughtful and reflective of the changing environment, politically and socially. Her input about preserving the historical character of Little Havana, and not making it one more urban sprawl area... More

Had a great time on our Little Havana Walking tour. It was just the four of us plus our wonderful guide, Flavia. She was prompt, very knowledgeable, and friendly. It was clear the shop owners respected her and we felt very welcomed by all. The provided lunch was delicious. We enjoyed the whole experience and enthusiastically recommend it.

My husband and I took the Little Havana tour and really enjoyed it. There was a wonderful mix of local culture, history, and politics. Flavia was excellent ... sensitive to providing a balanced view of the 1960s through the 2015s. I highly recommend this tour.

I joined the walking tour of little Havana after a week in Cuba and I loved how Flavia presented the tour and guided us through the place where 125000 Cubans landed after Castro took over. Although I knew already a lot about Cuba's politics and economical situation, I definitely learned new things from Flavia. She recommended the mojito at CubaOcho... More

Interesting, detailed. Politics and culture. The past, the present and the future of Little Havana. Our well-prepared guide, Flavia was awesome. The lunch was fantastic, more than enough. Watch the independent movie 'The Chef' before the tour :) We really did have a great time, money well-spent. The owner of the tour company came by when we had lunch and... More
