Weave in and out of streets that mark the site of secret ritual offerings, the very location where the Bay of Pigs was planned, and the fountain of youth called Dominoe Park. Sample pure sugar cane juice from a local fruit market, the classic Cuban Sandwich at family restaurant, and watch cigar rollers follow a decades-old technique to create the finest cigars. « less

My husband and I enjoyed exploring and learning about the history and culture of the Cuban people in Miami immensely. Flavia is an amazing guide, she is very knowledgeable and personable and generous with her time. There was just the two of us on the tour, we felt very privileged to have such an interesting and fun learning experience. If... More

My husband and I were the only people on this tour with Flavia. She spent almost 3 hours with us teaching us about the history, the culture and the food. I love little havana it is like a small country within a large city. The tour is very good and informative we even got to sample some delicious morsels of... More

Another couple were meant to join us but didn't show, so it made the tour quite personal and relaxed having Flavia all to ourselves. I knew about the Bay of Pigs fiasco but i didn't realise this neighbourhood was anti-Castro hence why they settled here. Flavia was full of interesting facts and it's nice to learn something about the place... More

I was very lucky to have Flavia as my private tour guide. Flavia shared her extensive knowledge of Little Havana with me in a very fun and entertaining manner. I am very glad that I took this walking tour (and also the Art Deco tour) as I learnt so much more than i could have possibly learnt anywhere on the... More

Christine did a wonderful job showing me this part of the city. I would have never figured it out on my own. We had a lot of nice food, heard great stories, etc. highly recommended.

My wife and I were fortunate enough to have Flavia as our tour guide. She is extremely knowledgeable and interesting. She was very patient with the group, and took us to all the main tourist spots with lots of information at every spot. A must try.

We recently were in Miami with friends and met the lovely Flavia from Art Deco Tours for a fantastic experience in Little Havana. Flavia gave an excellent overview of the neighbourhood both its political, historical, religious and social customs and how the exiles from Cuba started the neighbourhood. We could see how it has evolved into the tightknit community that... More

I took this tour last month and it was great! There is so much to learn about Cuban culture and how the political, religious, and social customs of the Cuban exiles not only transformed a neighborhood but also the entire lifestyle of a city--Miami. This was a fun way to learn about both Cuban and Miami culture. Our tour guide,... More

Not a huge amount of walking (four blocks or so), but hugely informative and consistently interesting. Our guide (Flavia) clearly had a really good understanding of the area and its politics and history. The cane juice taster and the Cuban lunch were really good too. Highly recommended.
