Great beach, great "views", but so so busy. Took a while to find a parking spot and it seems people are friendly. Be ready for the snobs as they are aplenty but if you are just minding your own business you will have a great time. Its a beautiful beach with plenty of dining options along the beach front.

Was in Miami Beach for a little R&R and went to Lummus Park in Miami Beach. Super clean park and beach area right in the front of the famous art deco hotel section of Ocean Drive (main Miami beach front road). Great spot for a swim in turquoise blue water or to people watch. Lots of activity and action here.... More

The beach - what can I say. It's got sand, it's got the sea and it's nice and peaceful - in the morning. But from noon onwards it was packed!!! You could hardly find a spot to sit amongst the bodies. Even though it is populated by a good deal of the "body beautiful brigade" it left me thinking of... More

I came to Miami for a week with my husband while 6 months pregnant, so it was great to be able to rent chairs with cushions and an umbrella each day. Hint: it's cheaper to rent them by the Marriott, which is south of the nightclub strip on Ocean Drive, near 3rd street. It's a very wide beach, so you... More

What a beautiful place. Lummus Park has manicured lawns, tall palm trees, winding paths, and gentle breezes. The park is a block wide and maybe a mile long. It is an oasis between the crowds on Ocean Blvd. and the beach. Great for people watching. Just find a chair in the shade and enjoy. Do watch out for kids on... More

Clean, tidy beach, great sand too! Plenty of sun beds, umbrellas for hire, not cheap but probably necessary to enjoy the sun comfortably. Sun bed hire was $12 per day and an umbrella $15 so dependent on how big your party is and how many days you visit the beach t can become expensive. Plenty of room for kids to... More

I went to this area after checking out Key Biscayne, having finished with my business trip earlier than usual that day. It was a miracle that I found parking right on Ocean Dr, and paid for one hour of parking which is $1.75 an hour. I eventually went back and paid for another hour. Eventually I noticed that the car... More

Very clean beach, not any trash, spotless. Water of a beautiful color. But due to earlier showers, almost desert. However noticed a group was swimming. Note: Beach is closed from midnight to 5am.

Beach was very good, calm and quite. Water was not very cold and waves were not too high. It was right infront of our hotel and very nice location. Good one to relax and sunbath. No water sports activities were there and no noise.

Long sandy beach with the beautiful people on show. A kind of gritty sand as I gather its imported. Take a beach chair and sit and stare. BTW the WCs were gross so go to a bar
