rent or bring your own...we've used it for some nice kayaking with adults and kids...we live in just south of there and it's very convenient and 'user friendly'...

Several friends and I stayed in the cabins (A/C!) with our kids aged 2 to 10 years for one night. It is right in the middle of summer and we underestimated the capabilities of the bugs....made it past multiple layerings of DEET! So don't stay in the summer. The cabins are fine. My cabin was missing part of a floorboard... More

I have been going here for over 5 years... I go at least 3-4 times a year... I always rent the cabins and take some extra beddings to make the beds feel nicer... you get to do so much for only $62 a night (including taxes) kayak, bike riding, hiking, swimming and much more... people will be people and will... Terrible place. The water was dirty and smelly. Plus my children's toys were taken in a minute. When I asked them back I was called racist. I am suggesting to stay away from that place. You can have beautiful, free beach in Sunny Island with clean bathrooms and showers.

I had a great time, My family went there for a picnic by the beach. There is plenty of picnic tables within view of the beach. The beach area is small but great for keeping an eye on the little ones. But what I loved the most about this park was the bike routes and kayaking trips. You can rent... More

Nice place to kayak, etc. Food available onsite. Get off and spend the day grilling and hanging out with the family. Come by boat or car.

The beach is OK but there's a lot to do if you like to bike or water sports. They have tables and shade so it is a good place to spend the day

Great place to go kayaking. It's very clean, but wild so that it's easy to forget that you're in the middle of a major metropolitan area. There was a place to eat just inside of the park, which was excellent, but I can't remember the name.

I decided to give this park a try even though as a local I have not heard many good things about it. What a waste. The water is stinky and murky.
