untamed wilderness becomes this place. There are absolutely no real signs anywhere. I would stay away from this place during any holidays... there is no real beach... just a dirty little shore...

OMG, it never ceases to amaze me how beautiful Florida is and in the most unexpected locations. I found this place since only the State parks allow you to walk your dogs (on leash) as all city parks (except dog parks) prohibit it. This place is just gorgeous with amazingly clear beaches, canals for canoeing, enough room for joggers, dog... More

Miami always amazes me when you consider all the lovely parks in the area. For a county that is so conjested with traffic, shopping centers, etc, it is always a delight to find a place of natural beauty. Just hope local officials don't find a way to ruin it.

This has been picked as one of Florida's top parks. They have log cabins to rent with BBQ pits. Common bathhouse. Bike trails and kayak rentals. Miles of trails. Florida the way it used to be. All at the top of Biscayne Bay . Do not miss this park on your visit to Miami.

Beautiful setting, great kayaking experience and friendly staff. Hard to believe this park is just minutes from the city.

I usually come here to do mountain bike. It has an amazing road for bikes! Like being in a real mountain!! (crazy to say this in Miami!) They made a great improvement to this park recently. And then you can cool off kayaking to the sea. Incredible natural park in the middle of the city!

Oleta River State Park is said to be Florida’s largest urban park The park is best known for miles of off-road bicycling trails. At the north end of the park there are shaded mangrove trails. Kayakers can paddle the river to explore the mangroves and also paddle out into the bay. Picnic tables and grills are available. For overnight visits,... More

My family loves Oleta River State Park! There is so much to do there. Its great for bike riders as it has several bike paths with different levels of difficulty, from paved paths to daunting dirt traks with jumps. There are bbq areas, canoe rentals, a fishing pier and nice calm beach. Don't forget to bring your helmet as you... More
