Went there in march with family and my kid. It is a small bay like cuba beach's.... No wave at all, kid can play in the sand without worry! This was the best place iv'e found in miami for lauderdale area... A must go! Beautiful fishs around!

This water is not on the ocean, very small beach area...not that great. Perhaps good if you do not like crowds. I felt the air had a not so pleasant smell...I think it is near a treatment center.???

I absolutely love this park, I visit once a week by boat and then head out to the Sand bar. There are lots of things to do like renting kayaks and riding the mountain bike trails. You am also just relax on the beach they have and bbq grill. A true gem

Go here all the time, love the kayaking!! We have even seen dolphins a few times. Highly recommend it!!

When you come in to the park, they make you pay ten dollars to just park. Then, when you want to rent a kayak, they will charge you 35 dollars for one and a half hours. She decided to pay that because we already wasted 10 dollars on parking, so it would be a shame if we would just leave... More
