I went with my husband, my 11 years old daughter and one of her friends. We rented a kayak and we made a whole round of the bay paddling during a very nice Sunday afternoon. We even saw dolphins jumping around in the water next to our kayak!! We jump on the water and swam to the beach also. Very... More

We only visited Oleta River State Park Briefly. We have driven by the entrance and perimeter on 163rd ST plenty of times and seen the massive mangrove forests. Oleta River State Park has one of the largest remaining mangrove forests in the Miami area. We were angered to find that this publicly funded park has an entrance fee. We were... More

You could spend an entire day cycling, kayaking where you can actually go to a very popular sand bar less than five minutes away in which there are always boats with music and very friendly people also walking, swimming, making a BBQ ( they have grills all over the park). My favorite activity there is riding bike thru the trails... More

Tried the smoked fish sandwich and fries, excellent taste and fresh. Not a fine dinning place but great for a quick lunch.

My husband and I rented some kayaks and it was great! There are quite a few different areas you can kayak through. Make sure to go through each one to find the ocean! Worth it in the end.

My husband and I spent our anniversary here. We kayaked on a canal full of mangroves and then out to the ocean and onto a little island where we replaced and enjoyed the beach. They have bike rentals too.

You better go early because if you go by noon on a weekend it will be a huge line to get in, other than that the place is good to do many things, you may kayak, mountainbike, also the beach area is full of natural shadows becausse of the trees you may enjoy. Kayak, boats, bikes rent available

Exceptional mountain biking on the well maintained single track which will challenge even the advanced riders. The park offers hiking, biking, running trails, kayaking, paddle boards, fishing, BBQ areas, swimming, beach volleyball. This is one of my favorite parks in South Florida.
