Had a lovely time kayaking with my friends! Even came across 3 manatees! Be careful of the jellyfish! Bring water, snacks, and sunscreen :) (But keep them in water proof bags!)

Went with my family and friends. We had a great time. The best part is that you can rent the bikes or the kayak. Bring your own food and be ready to spend the whole day.

Nice beach area and its good for kayak, bicycle rides and other sports. Very clean, organized and lots of fun for the whole family.

Don't bother visiting , once you're inside and you think you're immersed with mother nature , you'll have sights of skyscrapers around the corner. Bike trails are poorly kept.

This was by far the worst State Park we stayed at in FL. The only positive thing is that it's $55 or so for a cabin that is close to Miami. Let me start by saying we stayed in a tent at all our other S.P sites and would've rather been in a tent than the rustic cabin. I understand... More

My friends and I did mountain biking and kayaking, and we had such a great time. It is little expensive, but a lot of fun.

This is a beautiful, large, well-kept park. This is my favorite park to go kayaking as the waterways are wide and large so that the branches don't hit you in the face. It's a little shallow on the way out to the waterways, but you may spot birds or fish along the way. There's a little bit of a hassle... More

Our family of 5 is staying in South Beach and came out to enjoy the nature. We rented a canoe and 2 paddle boards. My teenagers LOVED it and my husband and I enjoyed it as well. The staff was very nice. Bring snacks!!

This is a great state park, you could spend the whole day and be either filled with activities or wade in the water and sleep on the beach.

The area is beautiful and the atmosphere relaxing. The price for the canoe and kayak rentals were a little steep though I enjoyed this park alot and would return. Only negative would be once you get out to the island via canoe or kayak you will instantly see that it is filled with trash. Please pick up after yourselves people... More
