Its a great way to sea the city from above. Just be sure to not pass your stops. Its quite bothersome when you do. Plus there are street walkers hanging around the station downstairs.

We walked a block,(if that) to the train, which wasn't a problem at all. That Miami heat, is something else. We got on the train, not bad in getting you to your destination. The people that rode the train was very helpful providing you information, also. I think it needs more seats on the train, but then there would be... More

Convenient for moving by monorail around local Bayside and downtown area completely free of charge! The service even includes the cruise terminal which could be useful if you have limited luggage. There is a stop right next to Macy's on Miami Avenue and also a transfer stop at Government Center for chargeable train service to the Airport as well as... More

I loved this!! We used it quite a bit while on our trip to Miami. I do wish it had seats though and the stations could of been covered as I felt it was quite dangerous. But I guess that's what you get for free transit.

After the first night in Miami, we figured out how useful this was. After arriving at the airport, we took the Metro Rail train (only $2.25) to the Government Center stop. Then we hopped on the free Metro Mover which took us to Knight Center stop and the hotel we stayed at. Talk about saving a lot of money in... More

Great choice to go around both central Miami but also to connect to South Miami and through the Trirail to areas north of Miami! Convenient, not expensive and does the job. If connecting, make sure you are aware of the timetable or you could end up waiting for half an hour or more.

What a great way to move around downtown Miami. It is free, it is safe (although there are a few strange people riding this metro) and it is good for the environment.

Thank you Miami for providing this. Every city should have a free people mover. This was convenient fro going around the downtown area without worrying about parking or having coins in your pocket.
