Everybody rides free on Metromover. This 4.4-mile electrically-powered, fully automated people mover system connects with Metrorail at Government Center and Brickell stations and with Metrobus at various locations throughout downtown. Major destinations of the Metromover system include the American Airlines Arena, Bayside Market Place, Miami-Dade College and the Miami-Dade County School Board.

Miami mass transit is not great. You can get around downtown on metro mover but it needs to be expanded. You can connect from Metrorail.

If you want to a Free tour of Downtown Miami and get oriented with all the location that you want to vist, hop on the Metro Mover loop. There are three different loops run in circle (Omni, Inner< and Bricknell). You can even take the Orange Line MIA Metrorail to the airport at Government Center stop.

Prior to our cruise, we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Miami which was adjacent to the Knight Convention Centre which was one of the stops for the Metromover. This gave us the opportunity to experience the free Metromover which had several loops around the city. This is a great way to see some elements of the city in a short... More

The metromover is a free elevated transit service that takes you to downtown Miami and connects up with the Miami Trolley and regular transit bus service. We found it handy to get around.

Handy, free. I just felt a little uncomfortable about some strange people around. But, that's downtown in makor cities anywhere in the world.

What more do you need when it is free- gratis??? Available all around the downtown and vintage stop points. Connected to metro stations in downtown. Best way to move around and avoid the hassle of parking in Miami downtown and to top it all, great views too.

Once you get off MetroRail at Government Center, this is the only way to get around downtown & Brickell. Well light, safe & on time!
