I would recommend it only if you're near by and have some time to spare otherwise don't waste your time. The abbey has a well kept garden, some statues and an interesting architecture and that's it.

It was amazing to see the architecture in this old building. Nice gardens and some very interesting statues. Was worth the small admission price.

This is an accidental missed item from W. R. Hearst's relentless collecting. The website has details, which should pique anybody's interest. Tucked away in a slightly downscale semi-industrial area in northern Miami this would not be an automatic choice for tourists. Missing it would be a mistake. The whole story about moving this part of the monastery to the US was fascinating and very courageous. We enjoyed the place and the story.

As a Miami resident, I think it's worth a visit at least once. I would not recommend it to a passing tourist though unless you stay for more than two weeks. The abbey has a nice garden, nice statues and in hot weather, the cloister is very welcome because it's both airy and covered. It's also a wonder in itself... More

Beautiful old buildings and beautiful grounds. Unique. This was a long way from downtown Miami. Check the opening hours. We got there just as it was closing at 2pm to be set up for a wedding.

OVER A THOUSAND YEARS OF HISTORY ! You don't need a passport to go to Spain its here in North Miami Beach . I can not believe this is a treasure that the Spanish lost and we got. It's like walking through the pages of a history book.. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. At the visitors center we... More
