Yes, I am sure that many travelers visiting Miami are lured in because of the advertisement campaign that keeps Miami Seaquarium in business. However, as a local South Floridian, I made the mistake of purchasing a year round pass, since my children are now at the age of discovery and thought it a great place to go on occassion. The... Went to the Seaquarium end of Nov 08. As I have never been to anything similar (ie SeaWorld) - I found it entertaining and those with me enjoyed it too (adults). The facilities are relatively small but had a good programme. There is a rolling programme - if you follow it through it would take about 4 hours. There are... More

If you set aside the fact of the animals (believe me - I love them) and you realize any animals in captivity is sad, than this place is alright. It just like any other zoo you have visited, only these are marine animals. The park is small, and dated - considering how long it has been around and the animals... More

The tanks are very small for the poor animals, yes. The performances arent bad, and the birds that try to steal your food are kind of funny, and the park is clean...ish. As a huge manatee fan, i am dissapointed at the condition of the tank there but at least they help manatees, sea world is much better and its... More

I went in April 2008 with my mother while we were waiting for a cruise. The animals were listless, the tanks were sub par. We walked around the entire site in 10 minutes. The Orca show was a lot of fun, but that was the only redeeming quality of the entire place. Also, the food was terrible.

We stayed in Miami this Summer for 30 Nights. We had a great time every day. On thing we did on our vacation was going to the Miami Seaquarium. It's very close from Miami Beach, especially if you come by car. We didn't expect much, but we got suprised in a very positive way. We knew about the entrance charge... More

We spent about 4 hours at the Miami Seaquarium and the kids had a great time. We came to see the shows and have a nice family fun day. It met our expectations. We got to see the dolphin "Flipper", sea lion and the killer whale shows. The Flipper show was the only disappointment. The trainer's voice was nearly impossible... More

Relax people! My wife and I went to the Miami Seaquarium yesterday 8/24/08. We got tickets from a friend who got it through work at a slightly reduced price. We met them at the Seaquarium. They have two kids and also brought they're grandparents. We all had a great time. Just before we left West Palm beach for the trip... More

Decided to visit aquarium!! Situated in lovely location, but that's about it. Animals kept in cramped conditions and shows were not worth the time it took to get into them. Very pricey for what it deleiverd. Not good value for a family outing at all. Would not recommend to anyone.
