Although zoo's are not everybody's cup of tea, I cannot see how any captive animals could have better conditions than those at Miami zoo. As previous reviews it is big we walked round on a very quiet day and completed a full loop in under 3 hours, there are plenty of drinking fountains and cooling machines. You can hire bikes... More

This zoo is massive. You can probably fit a few other zoos into this one with room to spare. It's So Large they rent you pedal carts to take around the zoo....trust me rent one. Although they are pricey to rent just do it...its well worth it to save your feet from walking and walking and walking. Plenty of animals... More

Great zoo. Animals had space to move around and were easy to see. Got lots of great photos since most of the animals were not in cages or behind thick wire fences - they were separated from the public by deep moats instead. Park was well laid out and was much easier to figure out where to go than the... More

We visited Zoo Miami and had a great time. It's one of the largest zoo's i've ever been to. the animal selection was great, and there were alot of fun things around the park to do. We didn't find the monorail system they have in the park to be all that helpful, and it seemed like you would stand there... More

It is wonderful to see how free the animals live at this Zoo, sometimes it is hard to see them because they have so much space but just whait a while and they will come out besides it is worth it for the animals sake, the only drawback is that it can get very hot and there are very few... More

We have lived in Palm Beach County for over 20 years & had never been to the Miami Zoo, now known as Zoo Miami. We have a wonderful zoo here, the Palm Beach Zoo. We also have Lion Country Safari, which is lots of fun. Between the two of those I never felt the need to take my kids down... More

The walk around the zoo is manageable and not stressful.    The zoo is laid out well so it is easy to see each animal and not backtrack.  We went in March,  on a cool day after a storm, so the zoo was not crowded.  What a pleasure to see  content animals, each with a friend in their large  habitats....
