This is a wonderful attractive, informative and inviting place to visit --- free of charge! We brought adult and youngsters from 'up north' to learn more about our Turtles and they thoroughly enjoyed the hands on displays as well as the films. What was expected to be a short stop turned into a longer enjoyable amount of time. Great view... More

If, you have other things to do...time better spent, elsewhere. Read a book at the beach. Walk, swim at the beach.

If you always wanted to see a sea turtle, you must book here. This was a great experience. We booked a walk at the end of July. The staff were friendly and knowledgable. The guests stay in the center until the scouts find a nesting turtle and we thought it was going to be a bust. The program started at... More

We had heard about the Turtle Walks so we made our reservation before our vacation. The night of our visit, we thought we might lose our money since there are no refunds but the lightening subsided and the tour went on even in the rain. The volunteers go out looking for nesting turtles while we listened to a volunteer give... More

Nice quick visit to see exhibits about the local sea turtle population. There are numerous things for purchase (tshirts, ball caps, art, books) that a portion goes for sea turtle research/protection. Good place to check out if your are interested in sea turtles. No actual turtles at facility.

The walk-through museum had excellent visuals and dioramas. Free, too! Glad to support their efforts with purchases from the gift shop.

The sea turtle preservation society is a worth while organization. Beginning in May they lead nightly walks on the beach to watch the sea turtles come in to nest. It is wonderful educational experience to watch these turtles, some weighing as much as 300 lbs, drag themselves up on the beach to reproduce. If you are not in Melbourne beach... More
