I didn't have time for the Turtle Walk, but did have time to meet the staff and view the videos. Very nice job. Best part was walking over to the beach to see all the turtle crawls left from nightly nesting turtles. This is the premier nesting beach on the east coast.

It is a bit small, but we learned a lot about Turtles and the films shown are very well made and up to date. Really enjoyed the visit!

When we visited it was the time for turtle to lay their eggs and the people from Port D Hiver provides with special flashlights that will allow you to see the turtles but not to disturb their natural process.

about preservation of nature and saving sea turtles and other sea life from exploitation. It is time for all of us to make our voices heard low and clear to protect our environment.

I lived in the area for 18 years and loved the sea turtles. I ran on the beach every morning and several times came upon sea turtles returning from the nest. Once I found hatchlings marching to the sea.

It's worth the trip. Incredible seeing these massive creatures lumber up from the water lay their eggs and walk back. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. We'd do it again.

Very informative tour and we learned a lot about the sea turtles with a close of view of of a turtle laying their eggs. Lots hard worl for the sea turtle! We also learned how to protect them. It's a long experience but worth it. We took all grandchildren except our 5 year old due to age restriction. The fee... More

My husband & I happened to be vacationing on World Sea Turtle Day. The Sea Turtle Preservation Society had a nice little party going on at the time for the public. They also made it easy for people to learn about sea turtles & sign up to do some conservation. They also had a nice gift shop.
