This is a great place for families to take the kids, especially if you've never seen alligators up close and in person. Guests are taken through the wetlands on an airboat and a tour guide points out the various wildlife and explains the eco system. It take about 20-30 minutes and is lots of fun. There's also a little coffee... More

I take my camera and go to observe wildlife in its natural state. I get excellent photo opportunities there.

This is a quiet, easy access, wildlife area ideal for persons with limited or restricted mobility. You can drive your car on the roads and observe the wildlife without having to walk or leave the vehicle. It's also a nice park for families and couples.

My husband and I planned on driving thru on our way home from Melbourne Beach. This was a great way to change up the scenery on the way home. There are also lots of places to dine and shops close by. The park featured lots of birds, alligators, and even otters!!! I would love to come back and walk or... More

Spend a little or a lot of time. The longer you stay, the more you will see. The wildlife of Florida is spectacular here. Many species of birds and alligators have been visible every time we've visited. Great for the bird lover or the nature photographer. Great for kids of all ages.

We went through this park by car on a pretty warm day in May. We DID see baby gators in the shallow areas, and many birds. Super fun to see! We only passed 2 other cars so it was a very quiet pleasant afternoon.

It was a dreary, drizzly day when we drove through here, but wildlife abounded. We saw several gators, a large Florida softshell turtle, and a plethora of water fowl, from herons to roseate spoonbills. One of the driving loops was closed off but we did all the others. We got out a few times to look at things or climb... More

After driving maybe fifteen miles down the coast and then back into the park we weren't sure what to expect. We thought it was a typical seashore park until we saw the water from the river rushing through the inlet. Awesome. The beach there, particularly the crystal clear water is something to see as well. Be sure to wear shoes,... More
