The inlet is an awesome area if you're on the water. Manatee on the ocean side, dolphins on the inside. Inside, water is blue, calm and shallow. Saw many dolphins with babies. Fun to drift with them.

Here is where the Indian River and the Atlantic Ocean unite, it makes for exciting surf. A great place to fish as it has a jetty, wonderful beach, great for surfing, many different areas to swim, some shallow ponds, three different ocean beaches with different types of surf. Has a great place to camp overnight, has so many areas to... More

I went fishing there with a friend last summer. The beaches, tidal pool and the pier are amazing there. I believe it costs $5 to get in and it was worth it. They are renovating some of the visitor areas which will only make it better. The water at the end of the pier is crystal clear. You can see... More

We went to Florida in search of a few things (relaxation, good craft beer, the ocean and lots of wildlife). When we stopped in (by chance) to the Sea Turtle Preservation Society in Indialantic we met a VERY nice and knowledgeable woman who told us a lot of great tips to see things while in Florida. She told us if... More

This is one of the best surfing and fishing spots on the East Coast. A very long breakwater and fishing pier is on the north side of the inlet. On the northwest side, on the river, is a great tidal pool swimming place, great for kids. Add a new restaurant, and showers, you have it all.

Nice protected cove for children to swim - camping, boating, nature preserve. Nearby Sebastian Inlet to the ocean - pier for fishing, etc.

Our family used to spend a lot of time at this rec area, long before they started charging to get in. What they do with all the money they collect I have no idea. They certainly don't spend much improving the place. It's a pity but we have on been there once recently and I can think of plenty better... More

Great swimming, fishing and boating here as well as bird watching. Boat rentals, both motor and kayaks, available on the north side at Inlet Marine.

I discovered this place last year and returned again to see the brown pelicans. They are everywhere! If you approach the inlet from the parking lot, there are many adult and immature brown pelicans lounging on the rocks, occasionally flying to catch a fish, or, better yet, hoping to get something a fisherman doesn't want. The brown pelican is my... More

If you are looking for some fun in the sun, look no further than Sebastian Inlet! The view is incredible, setting gorgeous, and with the updated park, it's a great place to spend the day. We had a delicious and moderately priced lunch on the top of the grill deck. (burgers are juicy and tasty, shrimp was great) You can't... More
