Really neat place

We just went for a morning. We walked up and down the pier, watched manatees, and toured the fishing musuem. A great day in all

We did not get this area, which had been recommended by many, and is clearly well-liked here on TA. The tidal pool was very shallow, with dark water, a somewhat squishy bottom and, on the day we were there, featured a large dead fish floating in it. I could see it being a decent experience for very small kids who... More

The recreation area has a lot of pluses, but before you can enjoy any of them; put on insect repellent. The sand fleas are heavy now. You can fish off the piers, snorkel, visit the gift shop, museum, or restaurant, or bathroom. I did not see any dolphins, but they are common in this area. You will see manatees, its... More

Beautiful area to pack your lunch! Places fore your grown children or small.great fishing of piers. Museums about local fisherman, and a restrauant on the north side of the part. Museum has staff to run but the didn't seem to know about displays. Guys fishing off piers seem knowledgeable about didn't fish being caught. Was worth the visit, and I would... More

Great park. Allot to do if you want or just cruise the jetty to see what they're catching. Good restaurant on location just a little pricey for what you get.

My daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday at the Inlet with a few of her friends and it turned out to be a great day. We ate in the picnic area, beware of the sand fleas for they tore us up before we got the insect repellent on. Her and her friends spent time at the cove and then went... More

Awesome place to spend a day! Great place to fish off the jetty and enjoy the wildlife. Almost always see manatees and dolphins here. There is a manmade swimming lagoon for families with smaller children. Bathroom and changing rooms as well. The restaurant and gift shop don't stay open very long, so I would recommend packing a cooler. The water... More

Been here more than 5 times and keep coming back. The water is beautiful and the park is well kept. You can go to the Inlet and walk to the seashore from there if you get bored. The Inlet is not deep at all and really safe for kids. Enjoy the beach water without the dangers.

This is an stunning place, we spent time watching fishermen catching huge fish and generally enjoying the area. The opportunities for watching wildlife were outstanding - we saw Manatee in the ocean, a first for me, even after many trips to the area. We also saw lots of large birds of prey around on the coast. We spent time in... More
