Tide pool

Great area for little kids. No waves and lots of sand bars. A manatee swam through there last time we were there.

I think this is definitely one of Florida's great spots. The park is open 24/7 with law enforcement present. A wonderful experience no matter when you go.

One of the very few inlets with a bridge crossing it. Easily accessible from both sides of the inlet because of the bridge. Camp sites on south side with locations on the water.

The inlet is not only beautiful but offers plenty of fun activities for all ages. Swimming, boating and hiking trails are all fun. The tide pool is especially great for young children and families.

Just to pull up and hang out in the parking lot watching the snook fishing in the inlet, or walk around the property is really nice! The campgrounds are clean. The boat ramps are nice - a real nice park. State entrance fees - I just keep an annual state pass to get in. Very much worth it.

I took my adult children and my 2 year old grandson here because of the tide pool and I am very glad I did because this is my new favorite place to go to the Atlantic! The tide pool is perfect for the little ones! Many spots of shallow water and warm! You can see small fish swimming in the... More

This is a great stop! Beautiful views. Easy access and parking , very friendly and helpful Rangers and a wonderfully informative museum Stay for the short movie. You will learn all about the area going back 400 years and they also have a lovely little gift shop with lots of great children's and adult books etc.

I want this beautiful place to myself. Lots of fishing from the piers and lovely quiet beaches. There is a shallow lagoon on one side so good for kids. There's a cafe serving good hot dogs, burgers etc on one side of the park. It's split into two parts by the river so make sure you keep your ticket if... More
