Remember the turtle club jokes of the 80's ? Well this has nothing to do with that. But it has a lot to do with Loggerheads and Leatherback turtles. The facility is small, they have a theater that helps you interact with the displays. There are exhibits and a good time specially for kids.

Well, I have to say that I talked with the guy running the shop. It was really tiny, not much to see. I allows try to support this type of society. This is really no more than a one room area though. Not much to really see. If you are already there you might stop in to buy something as... More

Excellent place to learn about the sea turtles. They have a lot of interesting exhibits for kids and adults. There is a small theater room where you can watch videos/movies about the turtles and other nature in the area. You can see the turtle tracks and nest holes in the sand dunes from their decks and walkways. Turtle walks are... More

Small but informative with a pretty nice selection of gifts. If you're in town on a "sea turtle weekend", it's a good choice. Good for a short stop of about 30-90 minutes, depending on how in-depth you want to get.

Have always been fascinated from the first time I saw a female turtle at sunset come out of the ocean to lay her eggs. This center help educate people about the turtles that migrate every year to lay their eggs. The two prominent turtles are the Loggerhead and Leatherback Turtles. The Leatherbacks are much bigger and you do not see... More

Nice facility, very informative, but really not a lot to see and do. Takes 30 minutes to an hour to tour. Did not see live turtles.

I booked a walk for my family June 23. This was absolutely the highlight and the best time of our vacation, even beating out Universal Studios we had gone to that previous weekend! Very educational and informative but in a friendly, and fun manner! My son who is a 8 yr old. future up and coming conversationalist loved the entire... More
