This is a great course. High slope. Reminds me of our Colorado courses. Lots of moguls and rolling balls!! So many last week. My sister and family live here so when I visit (25 min) I always have my clubs. Expensive.

The last few times I have played there, it has been with unpleasant surprises. Once, they were using temporary greens and did not notify us before we played. Next time they had the greens covered with some horrible smelling pellets for fertilization which made a straight impossible. The course itself is in good shape and challenging but not overly -... Played when they first opened and prices were very cheap. so, it was very backed up. One of the days it took us 4 hrs to play 12 holes. Cart path only on two of the days. Need to keep rates at a decent cost as they could see how many people those rates drew.

This is a good track and they are making efforts to improve the playing condition of the course. They have just reopened with new redone greens. Worth taking a look at while you are in the area.

We had a threesome playing 19 going out at 8:00 and we had a twosome playing 9. They were so accommodating about allowing us to play so we could finish close to each other. Bud was particularly nice to us. Liked the course. We are used to the flat courses in southern Florida so this was more interesting. The course... More

We live in a golf course community and still play Baytree several times a season. There is plenty of water and each hole presents a unique sand/water opportunity. This is somewhat of a position course and you have to weigh the risk/rewards carefully. Staff is courteous, practice area is well designed and in good shape. The course weaves through a... More

The course is located in the center of the Baytree housing community. It combines easy short holes with very tough longer ones. A couple of blind driving holes and a near island green for the 18th. Some holes are played with out using the driver of the tees. Great driving range allows you to warm up before you start.

Very well tended 18 hole golf course that I believe was designed by Gary Player. There's a nice club house and bar for lunch or dinner, a driving range and putting green. The course is pretty challenging (so bring extra balls), and the greens and fairways are pretty much always in excellent shape. There is quite a bit of water... More

A challenging golf course from any of the tees. A Gary Player signature course. A bit pricey. Batyree has a very nice clubhouse, restaurant/bar, driving range, and putting green. Many well designed holes. Pretty surroundings. The only negative I saw was the overall course maintenance is rather spotty, meaning it does not have that "trimmed and clipped" look that a... More
