We did lots of shelling, and saw live crabs, clams, conch, starfish. It was new and different every morning.

This is one of three beaches on Marco Island. Residence Beach is mainly for residents or snowbirds but there is a hefty fee. Tiger tail Beach is a long walk to be directly on the ocean itself and there is a fee to park. There is facilities here. It is about $9 for the day. South Marco Beach is a... More

This was a nice, clean beach but not near as wide as the tigertail beach on the other end of the island

Such a beautiful, wide, family oriented beach!!! If u like to walk, the beach is endless... There is a restaurant on the beach which is open to the public, called Sunset Grille to get sandwiches, fish platters and drinks if you opt to buy! 8 dollars to park, (or permit) if u can get a spot! Going early is a... More

Very beutiful beach with fantastic clean water. You can see pelicans and dolphins if you are lucy. It is about 15 minutes walk from the parking to the beach though so if you have a lot to carry it can be a burden

The beach is beautiful and inviting but the parking is terrible. There is one public lot that accepts Collier County parking permits and if that lot is full you have to go and pay another $8.00 up the street at a private lot that opened last year. I used to buy the Collier County parking permit because I am from... More

The parking lot is over the road and costs $8 per day which is good value. There are toilets located there and disabled parking is available. Access to the beach is but a short walk away, across a road and along a shady well surfaced flat path. This part of the journey is wheelchair accessible. After a short walk, you... More

the beach is very wide with a lot of white sand and a lot of shells. There are a lot of birds and some of them right there next to you. The water is shallow and good for kids. We enjoyed walking it in the late afternoon.

I arrived early and parked across the street for $8. They have restrooms there. There are none on the beach but you are about 5 minutes from beach to parking lot restrooms. Life jackets are hanging at the easily found and beautiful entrance to the beach. We arrived early and had plenty of space. As the day progressed it did... More
