We went on a sunny, chilly morning and had a great experience! Too many dolphins to count, including two mothers with young babies and a dolphin playing with a fish right next to boat. Several dolphins also played and jumped in the wake of the boat, it was an amazing sight to watch!!! Highly recommend, was an educational and fun... More

My wife and I took our 4 year old daughter on a morning excursion in February. Saw about a dozen dolphins. We lucked out sitting at the back of the boat as a couple of dolphins played in the wake at one point. The booklet and kids activities kept our daughter engaged over the 3 hours. Definitely recommend it and... More

so much better than any dolphin trip we have been on before. Extremely informative. Great for adults and children alike. The Captain and the Naturalist's knowledge of the dolphins by their study of Dolphins in this area was unlike anything we have seen before. Saw so many Dolphins, Ospreys nesting and feeding followed by a short period on a beautiful... More

My sisters and I went on the 9 AM trip. It was a a fabulous experience in every way. Naturalist Bob and Captain Mike were outstanding in teaching us about what we saw, and spotting both dolphins and birds. We saw tons! 14 dolphins, including a 4 month old baby. A young dolphin who had been rescued from being entangled... More

Have to say this was one of the best things we did on our vacation. We took the tour on Sunday February 1. We had a chilly start but the sun was shining. The two Bobs were fun and informative and so accommodating. They interacted with all the guests and the made it a pleasure for all. We saw 13... More

We made a last-minute reservation through our hotel (with their recommendation) to do the Dolphin Explorer tour for my birthday. If up-close and personal with the Dolphins of Marco Island, this is the tour for you! Not only is the tour with a naturalist who studies (and knows all the names of) the dolphins, but the dolphins seem to know... More

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Very informative, put together well, knowledgeable staff. Naturalist Brian made it all very interesting and captain Mike was perfect in getting the dolphins to meet the boat and follow it. Nice extras were shelling bags and trip to private island. Here's a tip, sit in the rear because the dolphins will play... More

We-an extended family of 7 which included 2 small kids, when vacationing at Marco Island were informed about the Dolphin Explorer by the owner of our rental. We booked for the morning trip starting at 9am lasting for 3 hours. We boarded a small boat which could accommodate about 30 persons. The guide Bob was an expert naturalist, friendly and... More

When our hosts at Marco Island heard about the water and soda, the shell bag and the pictures that our guide and captain provided they said that topped their cruise with another company. Both the captain and guide and ticket agent were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We had a great time!

We took our teenage twins on this excursion for their birthday on 1-18-15. I was very impressed. We saw 13 dolphins (including babies) and a peregrine falcon during the 3 hour trip. Bob was extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife and plants. He was humorous and happily answered questions. He even took photos of the all the travelers on the... More
