It's a lovely area. Lots of restaurants and little shops as well as charters for shelling , fishing and dolphin or manatee watching. You can even see manatees at times from the marina. We love to stroll here just to watch the beautiful boats in the marina and grab lunch at one of the patio restaurants with beautiful views. Oh... More

Took a six person catamaran out for shelling. The guide was nice and funny. Got lots of beautiful shells and the boat ride was so relaxing.

Check out Captain Bobs and head out and see the dolphins and go shelling! Or go on the Island Princess and enjoy the gulf. You can go seethe manatees as well.

Beautiful beach but parking is difficult. The sunset was awesome and even the drive down the island was beautiful. They have very limited public parking. Most lots are private here but once you find a spot your set to enjoy a day of sunshine and salt water.

We liked that we were able to use the shop for all our needs (bait, hooks, a scaling tool for our fish) and that it was open early.

We had a lovely dinner in one of the restaurants on the Marina. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of it at the moment. It was a lovely atmosphere to watch the sunset. It's also a nice place to take a stroll after dinner.

We charted a fishing excursion at the marina and there were a lot of choices. Back water flats fishing, Deep sea fishing and also boat rentals.

The sand is like white sugar. The weather in November was hot, hot, hot. We swam beside huge rays, who flapped slowly by. The water is so clear you can see right to the bottom. It is a beautiful blue We walked every morning along the beach and saw the Egrets wading and it was cool Our Hotel (cannot remember... More

We charted from the small tiki hut at the end of the dock. A small pontoon boat with captain, rod and reel was $68. Lots of fun.
