From the reviews it looked like this was the beach to visit while on Marco Island so we made sure to add this to our schedule. Parking was plentiful and cost $8 for the day. We were able to use the same parking ticket to visit the West beach later in the day. My issue with Tigertail was that the... More

Beautiful northern end beach. Two ways to access ocean-either cross an inland water channel on foot (quickest way)(for the squeamish, wear water shoes) or follow the sandy hook around. Beach isn't as wide as the public beach but it seemed less crowded than the public beach. Only downfall is parking is 8.00 and they don't supply change. Great rental shack... More

It was a very long and muddy walk to get to the beach under the hot Florida sun! Families with small children...beware!!!!

aside from the long walk past a stinky lagoon the beach is actually nice. I wish they had golf carts that would drive you to and from the beach. No, I'm not wading through water with cellphones, electronic car keys, etc. However, if you want shells, this is the place to go. Lots of shells have critters in them and... More

Beautiful sunsets, secluded, very natural, tons of shells. Little adventurous getting there walking through the lagoon to the beach.

I saw two public points to enter the beach without being a resident. Very wealthy area....very few parking spots for the public. No private parking lots, no parking on the streets. City lot has about 20 spots, $8.00 for the day. Beach is beautiful, no life guards, no rentals. Bring your own shade.

Really two beaches. A nice sand beach on a lagoon that is wadable to get to another beach on the gulf. Many shore birds hanging about the lagoon. A little outdoor dining area and restrooms up from the lagoon. I did see a lot of shells early in the morning on the gulf beach.

The actual beach is beaultiful, when we were there it was not crowded, the individuals working at the beach area very helpful and informative. If you like to collect shells it is great. The only issue we had was that the beach is not easily accessible, from the parking area your choice is a fairly long hike around the point... More

Beautiful Beach. Lots of white soft sand. The water was so warm - felt like hot tube water. Great view of the sunset.

The boyfriend and I visited this beach on our last day at marco island. It's a nice beach I liked it because there wasnt a lot of people and it is very quiet. The only thing I didnt like was that we had to cross trough a pond with very "dark brown water"if not you have to walk a lot... More
