The beach itself is terrific...here is a secret. Drive to the last area in parking . When you get off of the 'pedestrian only' small bridge, turn LEFT...there will be a short walk but it is well worth it...pristine beach and fun times await you on this gem of a beach. make sure you bring your umbrella and beverages and... Yes, it is quite a walk to get to the beach, but not as long as it used to be. You can park all the way to the left, near the new dressing/bath rooms, and the walk is shorter. Still a good walk to the water, though. $8 to park for the whole day, and you can go and come... More

These last couple of reviews are pretty accurate. We had a similar experience. It's $8 to park. I don't know why the man at the gate didn't tell us/give us more direction clearly knowing we weren't from the area. We found out on the way back, there is another parking lot closer to the beach. So don't park in the... More

We we told by the concierge that Tigerbeach was a great place for the beach and shelling. Being that we are native Floridians we were up to partaking in shelling which apparently is the BEST on the island. We arrived and needed to pay $8 for parking, however be aware that there are only about 20-25 parking spaces for you... More

Parking was available - maybe we were lucky. It was just a joy to hike on the beautiful, white sand beach. Lots of people to watch and shells for which to search. Fish and birds in the small lagoon between the parking lot and the beach

After you get ripped off $8 for parking, you walk past the (closed) cafe to a dirty lagoon. Is this it, we wondered? Then we spotted a map which showed that you CAN access the open gulf by parking at the south end of the carpark and walking around the scrubland. Except, it's about a mile walk from there, and... Went week after Labor Day no vacationers or snowbirds. Nice drive to Marco Island. Don't get near sea grass full of burrs

This beach has a new eating and restroom area and is very well maintained. The reason I say hidden is because you have to walk through a bit of a pass with water to your hips to get to the pretty area. This keeps it from becoming over populated and full of small children. It's quiet and can be secluded... More

Beautiful weather, and not many tourists at all! Had to walk a good bit to get to the beach from where we parked. There were almost no waves you could go out so deep into the water and we found so many beautiful shells! My favorite beach I've ever visited!

We walked on the beach to Tiger Tail. It is quite a haul!! I didn't think the beach was that amazing, it is pretty and shells but not as spectacular as I imagined. To walk from the beach to the street/food area is quite far. Take water with you to hydrate.
