There are not many cabanas available on the beach. On a hot day, you must bring your own chairs and umbrella which the beach bars in town sell. The busy part of the beach is a very far walk from the north public parking of Tigertail Beach. Plan ahead! Beautiful beach and beautiful sunsets.

I am a beach lover and I truly enjoyed the water. The best part by far was definitely the beautiful sunset. After watching the beautiful sunset, we did get attacked by tiny little flying bugs. So I will take some bug spray with me the next time I visit. I will be returning and taking along my two teenage kids,... More

We spent a bit of time on Marco Island and this is their signature beach. I did not like that you could not see the beach from the road and the access is pretty limited to the North and South public parking areas. All day parking is $8 with a two hour $3 option. There is no access to the... More

We loved a cold beer and a hamburger at the end of a day at the beach. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

This beach is beautiful! When you initially get out to the beach you first see a lagoon. At first, we were unimpressed, but after noticing people crossing over on the sandbar, we followed. White sand and blue Gulf waters are the end result.

Lovely beach that features layers of sandbars for which to shell from at low tide. Clean beautiful white sandy beach with pretty clear waters which you can spy starfish and other marine life.

If you're looking for a beach don't bother. It is what I would call more of a lake. The water is free standing. The area smells more like a fishing hole. If you want beach, go to the South Beach area of Marco.

This an amazing beach, beautiful clear waters, and excellent for shelling. My kids and I spent hours looking for shells like treasure. Definitely look at the tides and try to go close to low tide (about two hours before hand) to get the best shelling experience. Only bad thing is having to hike across the lagoon to get to the... We made the trip to Marco Island from Orlando and was worth the drive. My family was so happy to sink their feet into powder white sand and collect beautiful shells. The lagoon and it's amenities for the public were great. My day at this beach was perfect.

Great place to visit. Snorkel for sand dollars at low tide. Tidal pool great to fish and catch crabs. Very shelly beach.
