On the Gulf Coast, so much to do in the area including visiting John's Pass Village...lots of shops, restaurants, ice cream outlets, fresh fish merchants as well as dolphin and fishing excursions. parasailing, jet ski... Great beach and great area. To be near John's Pass would be a bonus. There are lots of shops, bars and restaurants.

Powdery soft white sand and easy to walk a long distance if desired. I was able to get wifi on beach. Waves are small and gentle. This is a family friendly beach.

This is a nice, but usual gulf coast Florida beach. The white sand is soft on your feet and the beach stretches for miles. There are small to mid-sized hotels if you want to stay locally. For those of us within driving distance, count on paying $1.50 per hour to park. We spent a short amount of time coming out... More

The beach was great! Lots of shells and sand for castles! We had plenty of space for swimming and collecting a lot of really cool shells. Our family of 7 had a great time!

This is a beautiful quiet, clean beach, plenty of space to spread out. However, I must point out this beach does not have any rentals or other amenities, apart from loungers and umbrellas at various points. Bring your own gear and refreshments, find a place on the white sand and you will not be bothered by loud music, or too... More

First time up at Madeira from past stays in Treasure Island. Same great white sand but not as far to get to water, enjoyed several morning and afternoon walks in each direction.
