So Clean

So clean, not overcrowded. WE LOVED IT! So much to do with John's Pass and local shops in the area. Can't wait to visit again, which will be soon!

Beach is clean and the water is close, unlike another area I stayed in. Streets and area was in good condition and clean. Dog friendly, except not allowed on beach, but there were areas for them, including a bay area.

I love the beach and the water and the quartz sand on the west coast. The sand never gets hot! A lot of the hotels are within walking distance to Johns Pass where there are many restaurants and shops. If you want to drive there is St. Pete beach not far away and so many other places to go. Parking is at a premium (both in finding one and paying for it). Beach was pretty crowded on Saturday, but not so much on Friday. Beautiful thick sand, plenty of rentals (umbrella & wooden chaise lounges). Oh! And there are public restrooms available and clean too.

Madeira Beach is wonderful and a great place to spend the day. We parked across the street from John's Pass in a metered lot with easy beach access. We rented a cabana with chairs for $25 for the day. The beach was clean and not very crowded. When it got warmer as the day progressed, we went over to John's... More

Madeira Beach is beautiful, not crowded, family friendly. If you expect to rent wave runners or parasail, you have to go to St John's pass. But if all you want is a relaxing and tranquil beach, this is the right place to be.

Great place for vacation, long term or short term. Madeira beach has some of the best beaches on the Gulf Coast. Great variety of restaurants with fresh seafood, happy hour specials and friendly staff. Shopping can be local goods at the farmer's market, or big box stores-they are all close by. You can make a relaxing vacation or event filled--Madeira... More

Easy walk to John's Pass and other attractions or restaurants. The sand is fine powder and groomed weekly. Not as white as Clearwater but a lot less crowded. There is public access and parking and a pub right by the beach.

Wonderful beach, great sand with barely any shells. Short walk to the beach with is nice when you have a ton of stuff. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

There's ample parking, volleyball nets and a clean beach. The Snack Shack is there for food and drink plus other restaurants and stores within easy walking distance.
