I spent an hour-and-a-half aboard the Dolphin Quest excursion boat viewing several pods of dolphin and getting a very interesting tour of Boca Ciega Bay and its surrounding million dollar homes. The captain of our ship was Captain Greg, a very funny fellow, with an extensive knowledge of the bay and the surrounding area. I'll not reveal any of his... More

The crew was awesome! They made the cruise a lot of fun, joking and laughing. They talked about the local history, pointed out some landmarks and famous homes etc as well. The boat was clean and well maintained. Fortunately it wasn't busy, there were a total of maybe 15 passengers. Having shade and comfy seats was great. The route they... More

Just wanted to say how much of an enjoyment the Dolphin Quest was. Captain John and FIrst Mate Megan were absouletly wonderful. Along with their professionalism upon greeting the guests and driving the ship the knowledge they shared about the sites and dolphins was great. As a tourist one on a ship loves to hear dolphin stories and mostly want... More

We've been on a few Dolphin cruises and this one is our favorite. Nice knowledgeable staff who actually look for dolphins. They serve alcohol and snacks so it's a really nice time.

As with everything in nature it is "hit and miss." Boy did we pick the right time to go check out the dolphins! Right out of the dock we saw the dolphins and followed them out to the ocean. They swam right next to the boat. Captain gave us a history lesson as we toured the local area. Before we... More

We frequent Madeira Beach often and when my daughter joined us this year, she wanted to see dolphins. The Dolphin Quest was fun, interesting and educational. Can't remember the tour guides but very entertaining and we saw things we would never had seen by land. And we thought we knew the area well. It was the best money we spent.... More

To start we saw a lot of dolphins. The teanage girls thought it would boring but ended up having a good time. Captain Greg gave us good information not only on wildlife but the houses on the water.

Captain Greg and his first mate were very pleasant. informative, and warm hearted. They were comfortable with their job and went out of their way to make the ride pleasant for all . . . especially children. Little expensive for a group of 5 but very happy we decided to do it! Recommend without reservations!

If you are into seeing dolphins in their natural environment, we thought this 1 1/2 hour boat ride was a very good value. The captain provides interesting facts and humor. We weren't really into seeing the homes of millionaires during the trip, but it didn't really detract from the dolphins and the good value of this excursion. And it doesn't... More
