This a great combo of shops, eating, drinking, watching boats, seeing dolphins....you name it. Shops are all real unique. recommend the soap and sponge shop, the Caribbean Jubilee, the Discount Jewelry Outlet, 5'oclock Somewhere, Bamboo Beach Bar, the Hut...just to name a few!

This is a great place to take new visitors to the area. There are many great choices for food & drinks. You can spend a few hours there enjoying all the little shops or take a cruise on the pirate ship.

We get to come to John's Pass often. It is a good place to relax, have some food and drinks, shop for Florida stuff and maybe even see some dolphins from the boardwalk. They often like to play and swim around the inlet area. So you don't need to spend your money to go out on a boat unless you... More

Enjoy eating? Snacks to dinner, it is here. Shopping? Yup they have that too if you need anything from cheap sunglasses to tee shirts and knick knacks, shoes, etc. Pretty much the stuff you expect in a tourist area but it is pretty well done. Parking in the garage is not free but not inconvenient nor is it more than... More

There are some really nice shops and restaurants here, a must stop if you are visiting the area. I'm local and still go to John's pass at least a couple times a month.

In May of 2012 we visited John's Pass Village, located in Madeira Beach, Florida. I was fortunate to have lived in the area some 20 years ago and was very happy to return and bring my wife. John's Pass is located at 12901 Gulf Blvd. Madeira Beach, Fla. 33708. This is the the one place that quite literally you can... More

Great place to visit, stayed 20 minutes walk away and spent 2 days here and at the beach. Everyone was so friendly and I had some of the best ice cream ever on the boardwalk. Highly recommended to anyone. Lots of nice shops and places to eat. Felt almost like going back in time!

I took a day off work and made reservations (with cell phone call back number) to go on the Tradewinds Casino ship. The weather was perfect so my out of town guests and I drove up from Bradenton. When we arrived at the dock the ship was locked up. The ticket office said the cruise had been cancelled. The rep... More

For shopping, it's convenient. There are a lot of shops in one place, if you need to knock out your souvenir shopping. However, only a few unique stores, and lots of stuff made in China. Did not try any of the restaurants, but nice views from the boardwalk.
