WOW! Some friends and I recently went to visit Historic Johns Pass Village in tropical Madeira Beach FL. The shopping and restaurants were great. This is a great place to shop if your in the area. Most of the shops contain souvenirs, t-shirts, candles, and little knicknacks. We spent a few hours going in and out of the shops and bought quite a bit. Definitely a must do if your in the area!!! more

We went there twice during our week long stay. There's a nice selection of shops that have a large variety of items. It's worth the drive down Gulf Blvd. Didn't eat at any of the restaurants there, but did go across bridge to Gator's. Great food, great price and great service! The shops were nice, just like you would expect Florida souvenir shops to be. Some were the big chain shops seen all over Florida, some were the little mom and pops, nice variety of different gift shops and ice cream parlors / snack shops. I have family in Madeira Beach so we had a place to stay one block from John's Pass. We have been going there for years and I love watching it and the area around grow.
