My husband and I spent a great day at Madeira Beach/John's Pass looking for a winter rental property. Lunch at the Hut was terrific! I had a grouper wrap that was just caught fresh and so tasty, as was the side of mashed sweet potatoes. His black and blue chicken sandwich was equally satisfying. We plan on taking visitors there... more

John's Pass Village and Board walk has everything that you may possibly want! Great ice cream, caramel apples, wine sampling, shopping, and plenty of dining. They also have jet skiing, parasailing and dolphin excursions. There were 15 of us on our trip and this area offered plenty for all of us. more

This is a quaint spot full of shopping and dining options in one location. It is a 5 minute walk from Barefoot Beach Motel (A must stay at location). It will take you approximately 2 hours to tour the entire area. Great site for people watching and just relaxing. I would not recommend renting a Wave Runner from this site... more

The boardwalk at John's Pass is a nice place to visit but do not eat at The Hut. I ordered chicken tacos. It was tiny pieces of burnt chicken with cheese on greasy flour tacos served with a tiny portion of lettuce and a slice of tomato. It was the worst meal I ever had. The server was very slow... more

The shops at John's Pass Village are full of unique items, in addition to the usual tourist "junk." Caribbean Jubilee is a delightful little shop full of unique treasures and the owner is a very nice gentleman! Windworks has an amazing display of wind chimes, flags, windsocks and all things "wind!" Also has many, many landscaping ornaments. Things, Etc. has... more

My sister and I love to shop. This was the perfect place for us. They had shops with souveniers, but also other types of shop that were great. They had boutiques with super unique things. Awesome place to take a stroll, shop and even eat or have a snack. more

We just returned from a visit to Clearwater Beach. Since we have visited several times before, we were looking for something different to do. We had heard about John's Pass and thought it might be something we might enjoy. We took the Suncoast Trolley from the Beach. After a 30 minute drive, we arrived right at the Boardwalk. What a... more

John's Pass was so much fun and a great place to go in case of rain as most everything is covered. BUT - watch out for the CRAZY HUNGRY SEA GULLS! My family bought 4 very expensive yogurt type sugar cones. 3 of us got orange swirl and my husband got the strawberry. No sooner had we walked away from... more
