We visited the park on Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed it. My daughter is 2 1/2 and loved seeing the animals. The cars were a bit slow-moving, but most of the times you could pass if you were ready to move on to the next thing before the car ahead of you. It took us 45 minutes to go through.... more

My family and I live about an hour away so we decided to load up and head on over to see the LCS. We have a family of 5, 3 kids....2 boys (10 and 13) and one girl (8). When you first arrive you pay and are given a CD rom that narrates your trip throught the driving portion. This... more

Took the family Sunday to see all the animals. We have not been in years, The kids enjoyed it, my parentsa enjoyed it and so did I. We drove through the "safari" 3 times. The rest is a little hokey but so what ? it's in the middle of nowhere so we expected it to be hokey. The animals were... more

LCS was the highlight of our Thanksgiving vacation to Florida. We took our three children ages 5, 5, and 3. They loved all of the park and the adults did too. What we liked: -Very clean and well landscaped park -Awesome animal encounters-the rhinos were the best part! -Feeding a girraffe out of our hands! -The six rides we went... more

We stayed two nights in a Kabin at the Koa the days before Thanksgiving -- what a delight! The facilities are emaculate, the staff friendly. We received complimentary passes as part of our stay to LCS and we LOVED it. Our children, 7 and 4, will be talking about this for some time to come. We are glad we went... more

This is a great park especially in the cooler off-season of October. The drive through was sectioned into different parts with each featuring different animals. Was surprised that we actually drove by white rhinos who were free to roam around their section. One of the highlights was an 18' giraffe that weighed 3,300 lbs but there were a great many... more

My best friend and I checked it out while down in Florida visiting family. Such a great experience! The animals were so interactive, the park is well maintained and the whole experience was a blast! Can't wait to go again! more

This place is truly great to spend an entire day. I paid just about $50 for three people (with their internet coupon). The price includes the drive-thru safari, minature golf, paddle boats, mini amusement rides, and a cute splashing zone (big enough for parents and children to enjoy). I didn't buy food there, although they do have a huge picnic/pavilion... more

A great family trip. The tour starts as you enter the reserve with almost all animals free roaming. This means to expect close encounters. Rhinos may in fact cross in front of your car and an ostrich at your window looking in! The lions are now enclosed in a pen you drive around. But, years ago they were open and... more

We loved it! Even our two teenagers who take a lot to get them excited enjoyed Lion Country Safari. If you stay at the KOA (KOA site gives you free tickets to the park) which is right next door you will hear the Lions ROAR! No kidding! I was walking my dog and the lions started roaring, and she couldn't... more
