I've been extremely fortunate to have traveled a lot & seen many places, people & such.. Among the adventures and experiences I've enjoyed and can recommend unconditionally... nothing (beginning with a book called The Song of the Ape, by Andrew Halloran), has meant so much & brought such unbridled joy to my life, as having taken a VIP tour with... This is of course is not an actual safari but it is probably as close as one can get with living in the US. It is a drive through attraction. There is an entrance fee and sometimes you will find good coupons on their website to print out before you go. They provide you with a CD to play in... More

Last time I was there was in 1989 and I loved to bring my kids to the play I was with my parents when I was a child. We've spent many hours in the park and took great pictures. Bring your old cell phones for a voucher to feed the giraffe. More

Great time and a lot of fun. You drive through a part for about 1.5 hours. Enjoy the drive, except if you need to stop for a bathroom break. Also, cannot open the window. The walk through part was fun and a lot if interactive parts. You are able to feed many of the animals. More

This is a zoo like nothing I have ever seen before. You ride on your own car while you listen to a cd narration that is provided on the entrance. They have zebras, gorgous lions, chimps, porcupines, girafes... They have a peding section, elephant rides, and girafe feeding. They also have diferent attractionsthat parents can ride with their children. Its... More

Lion Country Safari consists of two parts: the self-drive safari where you see lots of large animals (rhinos, lions, giraffe, chimpanzees, impalas, kudu, eland, waterbuck, etc.) and a walk through animal exhibit/play area. The self-drive safari comes first. After paying your admission (check their website beforehand for coupons and discounts), they give you a CD that narrates your drive, telling... More

My wife and I visited this attraction April 16th and we can say that this attraction exceeded our expectations. Lion Country has many exotic animals and quite a few would literally walk in front of your vehicle. They supply a CD that you play as you drive from section to section within their park. Afterwards, visitors can stop and feed... More

We were visiting Palm Beach Shores and looking for a fun excursion for the kids. SO glad we were able to find this one, about a 45 minute drive. There is a drive thru safari, in which they give you a CD to listen about all the animals on the property. It was quite educational for the kids. My kids... More

We are happy to hear about your first visit to Lion Country Safari. The giraffe feeding exhibit is probably the most popular interactive exhibit we have - feeding a giraffe at eye level is pretty WILD. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. More

If you don't have kids, don't go. You'll pay for a 1h-1h30 tour in your car to see safari animals, which is ok, but at neither point can you feed them. After that, there's nothing else to do or see which is interesting for adult. Still a few animals to see, but nothing to give you a thrill. I went... More

Sorry to hear Lion Country Safari was not what you expected. As you mentiioned, our walk through park does have some child-themed rides. However the paddle boats, pontoon boat tour, mini golf, giraffe feeding exhibit, bird feeding exhibits, animal exhibits, camel rides and water wars are popular amongst guests of all ages. Thank you for taking the time to share your... More
