We stayed in the state park cabins. They slept four adults and three kids. The kitchen had everything you needed. No phone or tv, but they did have games to play. The have an amazing screened in wrap around porch. We used a local tour company to canoe the Suwanee river. They were very accommodating and very affordable. We definitely... More

This was another great Florida state park. I have visited several and was impressed with this one for sheer beauty. It is set along the banks of the Suwanee River. I hiked the Earthworks and Lime Sink Trails and a portion of the River Trail. I will go back soon to see what remains of Balanced Rock. The park is... More

park owner has now apologized for horrible situation and has refunded our towing charges, seems he was not aware of some things employees were not doing, lesson learned if you have a big rig never trust anyone to check on the ground you are parking on but yourself

My wife and took a morning trip to the park from Lake City. We were staying at the Holiday Inn and it took about 30 minutes to get there. Beautiful location right on the Suwannee River. They have campsites from rustic to motor homes and there is also a boat ramp. We walked one of the trails and got some... More

Beautiful park. We stayed in the their cabins for two nights and had a wonderful time. The hiking was great and the views of the river and the convergence were incredible. Highly recommend.

This wasn't a good time to visit this park. Heat was unbearable and I wasn't swimming in murky water. Plenty of trails for nature walks but, too hot for that. A local place had canoes and kayaks to rent but again too hot. Nothing to do in town either. We will try again when things cool off.

My wife and I visited with my grandparents, and thoroughly enjoyed our walk along the trails and bridges. We loved the view of the river and its banks from the high observation deck jutting out over the shallows. We also loved the historic relics of steam ships, and seeing mounds built by Confederates as earthworks. I have visited Live Oak... More

Excellent area to tour. Lots of wildlife. Better to visit when cooler weather, My wife and I have been there several times and will go back again.

This was our 2nd family camping trip here in 2 weeks because there's so much to see & do here. It's hard to find a place that keeps our 2 teenagers & 9 year old all happy, but they all love it here.
