a beautiful nature walk in an out of the way location to take you back in time a bit

If you like peaceful settings with no surrounding noise other than what nature itself has to offer, then this is a place to bring your camera and spend a little time.

We spent several hours in this amazing park, and will be back again! The trails were great, bathrooms clean, plenty of areas to rest and eat lunch! Both young and old can't wait to go back! I made a video on the 11 Things I Love About Alderman's Ford Regional Park, but unfortunately I'm unable to share the link on... More

Awesome place for kids and everyone to relax and enjoy nature. There's a playground and just a great atmosphere. The bathrooms were very clean and it was well kept.

Very good facilities for group activities including covered picnic tables, large playgrounds and hiking/biking trails that cross the river multiple times.

I have lived in lithia for 14 years now and truly enjoy the simplicity and beauty(when it's fall especially) of this park. I loved bringing my kids here when they were little to play and now that they are older, it is nice to take a family walk and picnic. Quality family fun for $2.

Sons school had cross coutry meet. When we arrived the line to get in was backed up due to 1 person at the gate. There is a $2 fee. The person had to get the cah, run back into the building, get change, run back out to give change for every car/transaction! It was a bit ridiculous but we made... More

Great park. The trail is an over 2 mile paved loop along the Alifia River. There is a half mile elevated boardwalk over the floodplain. There are picnic shelters, a shaded playground, and a nature trail....not that the loop doesn't have nature galore. The only drawback is that were no signs posted to guide you to the boardwalk, which is... More

I have walked this park for years. It is a nice 2 mile walk. You are in the woods, going over bridges and water. There are rest areas and bathrooms available that are clean. If you go in the summer bring water with you because it can get hot. If you go in the fall or spring it's a beautiful... More

Today I had the most unfortunate pleasure of having to meet the park manager here by the name of Bryan Hughes. Myself and two other friends came to rent kayaks and have a nice scenic day. We get to the park all excited and pay for our rentals and go outside to wait. After waiting outside for awhile one of... More
