I came hoping to find an easy place to put kayaks in the waters. The ease of access is a definite cause for concern. The put in is located on a very steep paved access. The drive is blocked and boats ( & all gear) must be carried down ramp & past dock. This is not so much a problem... More

We visited for the first time and walked the 1.8 mile nature trail, including the boardwalk. We were very impressed with the trees and undergrowth, with the interestng sounds of hidden birds everywhere. The boat launch is in an oxbox of the main river, and the water level was quite low, but high enough. A local told us that the... More

Very nice walking/biking trail and areas for kids to play and families to picnic. Canoe rentals available.

Great place with many fun activities. We usually do the walking trails both on & off road! But the picnic area is a great place for bdays, picnics or get togethers. They have a canoe launch as well.

There are wooden walkways, exercise bars, picnic tables, some covered, play equipment, bathrooms and easy parking. A beautiful place under trees with squirrels to enjoy.

Really nice place. Cost 2 dollars for a car load of people. You can rent canoes at another park before you get to the boat ramp. The restrooms are very nice. Nice place to relax and get a workout. The currant wasn't very strong, but when you have to paddle back to car. It was a little harder.

Our family has a get-together at this park each year. Plenty of picnic shelters and parking available. There's a playground for the kids and the nature trails are very nice.

We had a great visit to Aldermans Ford Park. There is a choice of walks - a two mile path or a 2/3 mile boardwalk. Canoe boats are available for renting, and there is a large picnic area, complete with picnic tables. We were taken round by a ranger, who was very informative. Will definitely be back.

This park is a wonderful place to go with family, walk the dog, go for a run or a bike ride! We enjoyed a beautiful walk with our dogs there and enjoyed the stunning nature!
