We were at the Florida Botanical Gardens last winter with out of town guests and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a pleasant surprise and a lovely place for an afternoon stroll. We went back last week to view the holiday lights and were delighted by the display. The weather was just cool enough to make it feel seasonal and the... More

We enjoyed the holiday lights at the Florida Botanical Lights, and kudos to the volunteers who decorated. Perhaps previous reviews oversold the experience, or it was based on weekend viewing. A good Blues singer in the central area--although perhaps more chat than singing. A small but lovely gift shop. Standard fare at the snack shop; ice cream was good. Make... More

Helpful Advice: You will receive a color coded hand stamp when you enter the Holiday Lights. Show this hand stamp to anyone wearing a red or green apron and they will direct you back to the entrance and parking lot where you came into the Gardens. More

Gorgeous grounds and interesting visitor center. Although they have the gardens lit up for the holidays, it is more beautiful in the daylight when you can see the plants, trees and flowers .Plus, there were too many people at night to really enjoy the lights. Still, a gem in Largo. Highly recommended

We went here on a cold cloudy day. We could see that it would be spectacular at night or when things are blooming. It is a beautiful place and while we did not regret our visit, we wished we could have gone at a different time.

Added this stop to our trip last minute and so glad we did. Grounds are decorated for Christmas. Great plantings very well kept. AND property adjoins Heritage Village so we enjoyed this too. No fee for either but donations accepted.

.....so close to the hustle and bustle of metropolis! Particularly now with all the holiday lights, which is worth the $4 donation. But any time of the year is a good time to come here and take a stroll and unwind and enjoy nature and the various attractions.

750,000 lights illuminate these wonderful gardens. We went last night with friends and spent nearly 2 hours marveling at the display of colors and magical displays. There was music by talented performers, singing, Mother and Father Christmas sitting side by side in a gazebo, cafes, children, dogs and smilin,g happy people. This is one of the finest illuminations I have... More

The suggested donation this year (2014) is $4.00 per adult and is well worth it. The light displays are numerous, unique and very pleasing to the eye. Parking is free and close, and a casual stroll through the gardens may take about 30 minutes, but you may want to stay longer and enjoy some of the entertainment. There are snacks... More

If you get the chance , stop by during the month of December. There are thousands of lights and beautiful Xmas displays, carolers, and Santa Claus. There is a small donation fee to enter.
