What a pleasant surprise after visiting a few nature paths in the area. The layout here was superb... cactus garden, wedding garden, tropical fruit garden, vine garden, herb garden...it all went together so well. Everything was so well maintained, my compliments to the staff. Great job. A wine and cheese party for two would be perfect after 5pm as the... More

The FBG is a wonderful place to spend a quiet morning or a late afternoon. So many plants, great place to just hang out, and take a stroll BUT When you're finished, just go to the rear of the Garden and cross the little road. Watch for the sign and make your way into the most magical, quiet and wonderful... More

Thanks for your review. We are pleased that you enjoyed our natural area. What you describe is, in fact, a part of the Florida Botanical Gardens and is accessible via our parking lot on Walsingham Road. In the future, should funds become available, we hope to provide access to more of the Gardens natural areas. Directly across Walsingham road is... More

A lovely place to visit when in the area. If you visit in the summer, recommended to visit early morning as the heat can get intense as the day rolls on. Knowledgeable volunteer personnel on hand to answer any questions; many varieties of plantings to enjoy. Native plantings; vegetable gardens; tropical plantings as well as summer floral plantings. Not quite... More

This is a showcase of various garden themes and habitats , including tropical fruit garden, butterfly garden and native plants. Stroll on walkways, a boardwalk and bridges over a creek. A welcome center and gift shop.

We had a lovely time strolling through the gardens here. I wish I had brought a picnic lunch. We walked through every corner of the park and were delighted with the plantings and arrangements, even the area where wedding preparations were underway felt friendly and inviting.

Best examples of native and other Florida plants that thrive in our area. Great gift store. Staff is helpful and will identify your plants problem at no cost.
