This place is absolutely beautiful! Anytime of the year is fantastic! We visit the gardens at least four times a year...

I live pretty close to the Gardens and enjoy dropping in now and then just to see what's currently in bloom. I always see plants that I have no idea what they are, and also many that I probably couldn't grow at home... but it's a great place to relax and watch nature!

Was there during the Christmas season and they have a tremdous display to lights. Access is mulch paths so would be hard for wheelchairs.

As a Largo resident for ten years I am thankful every year that the Florida Botanical Gardens remain open to the public for free, thanks to the many volunteers who help keep it in such pristine shape. It is a gorgeous place to visit, walk through, sit down to read, ponder your life, enjoy wildlife, explore thousands of flower and... More

It's a beautiful place to visit all year long! It's peaceful and a nice place to stroll and take some time to just sit. Christmas time is also great. The gardens have an excellent light display that really gets you in the mood for the holidays!

I have been to other botanical gardens and always find myself saying that ours in Largo is the best by far which is why I visit 2-3 times per month. Everything is so lush and beautiful, perfect for picture taking. Most plants are in their natural growing form but some are topiary which is enjoyable to look at. I love... More

We found these gardens on a cool day and so enjoyed our visit! Besides the beautiful plants, the statuary, topiary , and other decor throughout the gardens were an added treat. Don't miss the wedding garden. You can spend a lot of time around the ponds looking for creatures, birds, and interesting vegetation. There is a small gem of a gift... More

I went twice, once at night to see the Christmas lights and once in the early morning to see birds. First trip was unsuccessful: Due to rains the night before, they'd decided to close the light show that evening, but a) they did not update the web site, which still said it was open!, and b) signage was only placed... I frequent the Park at least 3 times a week. I like to walk my Shiba Inu and take in all the natural beauty it has to offer. It is beautifully landscaped with paved walking paths. I like to bring my Kindle and relax in one of the many Adirondack chairs spaciously placed facing the water where you just might... More
