This was a nice place to spend a couple of hours. We where there on a Monday, and there were only a few other visitors. The garden is divided into different sections -- tropical fruit garden, tropical garden, wedding garden, etc. -- so there is plenty to see. There are no grand vistas. The design of the garden is fairly... More

The botanical gardens was free and it was about 2 hours to walk the entire garden. Unfortunately there were minimal flowers in bloom but there was a nice outside butterfly garden. Parking was also free.

Great scenery with all kinds of Florida flora. Walk throughout the colorful foliage. It is totally worth a visit. Trees, flowers, bushhes, water lilies. Take time to relax on one of the many benches. Good place to take spouse or date.

We really enjoyed this free garden. Even our kids had fun looking all the plants and flowers and watching for gators!

Walk along paths lit with so many beautiful lights. Has to be seen to be believed. I have also been to these gardens in the Spring. Lovely. Very pretty, quiet, with lovely vistas and places to sit and just take it all in.

This is a must-see for anyone who has an interest in gardening. Huge place, totally free. There are identification plaques in front of almost every plant. Shaded walkways, picnic tables, bridges, and several water features. We've been there twice, and it has been a treat both times.

While the gardens are great all year long, they are especially worth a visit during December/early January when they are all decked out in Christmas lights. It's one of the best light displays I've ever seen, also featuring live performers, food trucks, and other fun things to do. Definitely family friendly, but also worth a visit for anyone!

We spent a couple of hours in the gardens taking pictures-would have stayed longer but it was very hot and humid. Staff was super informative. If you like plants or are looking for a beautiful walk be sure to check out the botanical gardens.
