Although fairly small the Florida Aviation Museum really "packs in" the unusual and familiar in one place. There are some rare and unique aircraft on display, and some exhibits to bring on nostalgia as well. If you work in Aviation or have an intrest in the same, take some time to visit. Especially now that Fantasy of Flight has "gone... More

This attraction is well advertised in all of the tourist information materials which "float" around Orlando, Kissimmee and environs. Regrettably, what we saw was not what we had expected from the promotional material. The museum is quite remote from all other "things to do" places in the area but, with a vehicle and a GPS, not that difficult to find.... More

This is a nice, small aviation museum that is worth an hour or two if you are in the Lakeland area. Some really interesting airplanes, but nothing to compare with the big museums. They have a big an famous air show in April every year.

We were lucky to get a groupon admission special here, so we didn't have to pay the full price. That being said, we enjoyed it. Had we paid the full $10/adult price, that would have been different. The museum is very small, but they do have some interesting planes. I am an airplane nut, so I enjoyed it. I would... More

Yes, it is small but very interesting and fun. There are hands on activities for the kids, even us adults had fun. Admission is steep but I think that it is well worth it, because they have a school, camp activities and other functions, so I think it helps everywhere. We took our time and the boys had a great... I have to report that this did not come up to expectation but there is little to see and aircraft of little interest. People are very nice and try hard to entertain but the exhibits are virtually nil. My problem is having been to Duxford and Hendon this does not rate. If you are in the area by all mean... More

$12 entry fee is steep for the small collection. There are about 18 private, one and two place, private planes inside the building from a broad range of the 20th century. There are a couple of unusual military and research aircraft outside. A separate hanger had several planes being restored by a high school class. I assume museum fees help... More

Bought this as a Groupon for my husband which made the price reasonable. When he walked in he said, "WOW!' He loved looking at all the old planes and reading about their history. I loved the Howard Hughes exhibit. My husband knows exactly who he wants to bring back to the museum.
