Needs major help. Most interactive exhibits were broken or not fully functional. We spent an hour and were ready to leave. Went once - won't go again. Cheap entrance fee but still not worth the cost.

Exploration V is a neat place to bring your kids for fun learning activities. My son's favorite part is the downstairs citrus learning station where he can pick fake oranges off of the trees, collect them in a basket, and then climb up some stairs to put them in a huge "juicing machine" contraption the size of the whole room.... Very well done exploration museum for kids of all young ages. Two floors of activities. If it is raining, too hot to have the kids play outside, or if the kids are bored, this museum is a perfect treat. They do have annual passes and family plans. Not too expensive for a one time visit. Check out their web site... More

We were given annual memberships as a gift (they're also offered at certain times of the year at a large discount on Groupon), and we come every week for the art program on Fridays. It's a great place for younger kids (though our 10 year old feels she's getting to old for it). The staff is always very nice. We... More

My nephew had his birthday here, we had a private room for the party and the kids admissions were included in the party price. I brought my sisters kids (ages 5, 3) and they had a blast! There are so many things to explore. They have several hands-on displays, including a tree house room were they could climb, and an... More

If you live in Lakeland and have preschool aged kids, an annual membership is a must. There are some good permanent exhibits for kids to play at, plus there are plenty of special events on the X5 calendar.

Not badly priced, such a fun experience for smaller children. They have a mini publix market for kids to play in as if they work or shop their as well as many other fun pretend play areas! Everyone should visit at least once!

My children LOVED this museum! They were too excited about the different hands on activities they were able to play with. I enjoyed the fact that they were not rushed. It did get a little boring to me after being there a while, but the kids really did enjoy it.

I would recommend this children's museum for families with preschool age kids. Check the event calendar for various activities throughout the month. My daughter's favorite part was the Publix grocery store set up and the orange grove.
