When my son was young, I took him here to play several times until he was too old for it. Bringing his daughters (and him and his wife) here ~15 years later was both a trip back in time, and a pleasant experience with all the upgrades and changes. Both girls, 2 and almost 4, loved the exhibits, especially "Publix"... More

I have a 5 and 2 year old and they had a good time with the exhibits. Very hands on and a good size.

Great for small children and families. Lots to do and is part of a reciprocal program so we could use our membership there for free admission. Close to lots of restaurants.

I went here with a 3 and 5 year old. They had a great time! There are so many hands on learning areas that we spent half a day wondering around. They have a different craft that they do each day that is included in the price. Be careful where you park. There is a city garage in the same... More

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but its a magical place inside. There are many areas where children can use their imaginations, learn new things and just have fun. The Publix supermarket, Tropicana orange grove and plant and the Bay News 9 TV set are always favorites. The theater area with stage, costumes and piano fun. The doctor's... More

My kids love going here and its worth the price to do something indoors on hot summer days. They never seem to get tired of visiting!

Visiting out of town. What a TERRIBLE experience. I cannot stress the disappointment the children we were with had. The place looked like it has not revamped since the 80's. Very few "exhibits" worked. With the advancement of technology you would think the Exploration V museum would update past 2 decades ago. It boasts orange groves. All we saw on... More

You really can't beat the value here. $7 admission for 3 floors of fun. There was a summer camp when we went, but they didn't hinder our experience much, just made it a little nosier than usual. =) Would go again.

I took both of my boys, 7 and 9, here one day. We have an annual family museum pass to Mary Brogan Museum in Tallahassee and this museum is on the reciprocal list so admission was free. I believe the admission is fairly reasonable though. The first floor had a lot of pretend and role play costumes and booths. My... More
