Great small theatre. Upon entering, it takes you back to the golden era of movies-double features, cartoons, etc. There's an organ there as well. Saw the play, Ernie and it was fantastic! Parking is a bit challenging but over all, it's a hidden gem!

Went here on a hot summer day to beat the heat. Nice and clean, typical high prices for snacks you expect to pay at these attractions.

This play was incredible. Had a meet and great before play began and then question and answer period after. Very memorable. The theatre itself is beautiful.

This historic theatre is still active with everything from live performances to art cinema. One can see local productions of plays, regional dance companies, and national touring plays and musicians. There are regularly scheduled screening of some of the best films both old and recent. The ambiance is charming, like being in an Italian piazza complete with stars twinkling in... More

If you are fortunate to be in town during its run, go see Ernie. It's a play based on the life of Ernie Harwell, the voice of the Detroit Tigers. It is an excellent play. You will laugh and you will cry. I can't recommend this play enough.

Beautiful historic theatre...must visit if given a chance...no seat is a poor seat. Saw many shows and music at this location. I believe it is funded through private donations so hope it continues to remain open...a gem for Lakeland!

This ia a great, classic theater that has been lovingly cared for. Wonderful lighted outdoor sign that at night has the letters light in sequence. Inside is an old fashioned stand alone box office. In the theater are wonderful art work on the walls and ceiling with atmospheric lighting. We saw a movie there and before the show was an... More

What a wonderful place to see a movie or play. The inside of the theater gives you the feeling you have stepped by in to a time when going the theater was an event not a cookie cutter date. On top of this when you go you are helping keep the theater alive because it is run by volunteers.

This is an adorable theatre and some really great shows have been here. I have been able to go several times with my daughter at school in Lakeland. I have heard that Elvis performed there years ago, how cool. When you are in there look up and the ceiling for a great treat. Nice venue, I am always happy to... More

Wow,Elvis performed here years ago! They still have a Wurlitzer pipe organ that is played on occasions! When the lights are out, stars twinkle on & off in the ceiling! Neat!, artsy movies are also shown, as well as live acts. Very nice venue
