Walkways through out and a great egret feasting on lizards was a bit of entertainment during a visit. The location is popular for weddings inside and affords great outdoor photo ops

They do a great job with the landscaping which is well maintained. It is very quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy nature. They also have a very good Bistro with good salads and sandwiches

This is a wonderful place to go. Many people have Prom or Wedding photos made here. It is located by beautiful Lake Mirror in Lakeland, FL. There is a small playground and water spouts for young children. Contact the City of Lakeland Parks and Rec department to reserve party rooms.

Visit the garden "rooms", each with different colors and sculptures to enjoy. Listen to the music, watch the koi splash around, find the secret grotto, and find a bench to enjoy the views all around you.

We were in Lakeland for a weekend visit to Florida Southern College's "Child of the Sun" campus to tour the largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright buildings in the world. On our day to return home we spent some time checking out downtown Lakeland, to include Hollis Garden, a 1.2 acre formal garden located in the Lake Mirror Historic District.... More

My girlfriend and I loved this small yet regal lakefront botanical! This not well known garden is located just steps from Lakeland's historic district. The garden is Mediterranean inspired, with its columns, sculptures fountains and manicured foliage. There are also plenty of flowers to appreciate. In addition, there is a pretty reception venue adjacent to the gardens that make Hollis... More
